Pallavi was fast asleep on her bed when something hit her on the head.
"Ow, what the hell?" She said soothing her head
She looked up to see Raghav who was laughing as he threw another pillow at her.
"Wake up, we have a honeymoon to go too." He said.
"It's not an actual honeymoon Raghav, let's just cancel and let me sleep." She said groaning.
"Yeah yeah, but are you going to tell Amma that you don't want to go and hurt her feelings?" He said smirking.
Pallavi groaned knowing she doesn't have the heart to deny Amma, Pallavi got up and freshened up as Raghav left her room.
Why on earth does he seem so excited for the honeymoon, it's not even real.
She got dressed and came downstairs, she wasn't in the mood to wear anything fancy so she just put on a pair of jeans and Mickey Mouse top.
Raghav smiled at her cause she was looking hella cute.
This girl literally looks amazing in anything. She's just perfect.
They said their goodbyes and left for the airport. Since it's Raghav Rao, they flew private. Pallavi was really proud of how much Raghav has accomplished in such a short time. They hopped on the jet and he let her sit in the window seat because that's what she wanted. Even though Raghav prefers the window seat, for once in his life, he didn't care about giving it up for someone else.
The plane was ready to take off. Raghav sensed that something was off. Pallavi was suspiciously quiet. He looked over to her only to see her with her eyes closed as she was whispering out a prayer.
He chuckled.
Out of everything she's scared of planes, I'll keep that in mind.
Without realising it he placed his hand on hers intertwining their fingers together as his thumb brushed her hand soothingly.
"Hey, it's going to be alright. Just take deep breaths and look at me. You're going to be fine. I'm right here with you Pallavi, you're safe." He said sweetly.
Pallavi's heart felt warm. She didn't understand him at times. Sometimes he'd be a total douche to her and then sometimes he'd be so sweet. She liked the sweet side of him more. She looked into his eyes, and as soon as she did, she felt relief. It was like his dark brown orbs calmed her down. She muttered a small thank you as she looked down at their hands. A small blush crept on her face.
The plane was finally in the air and Pallavi had calmed down fully. She took her hand out of his and Raghav frowned at the loss of contact. She was about to put her headphones in when he spoke up.
"Uh I have to tell you something..."
"Yeah?"
"Well we're going to Paris for two weeks and it's kind of pointless to spend it alone, so I have a important deal coming up and one of the business associates will be there too. It's not like we were going to do anything together like a couple anyways, so I thought I may as well get some business done." He said.
Oh... I actually wanted to spend time with him. But I guess he does actually hate me that much that he'd choose business over me. I need to stop having such expectations from him. Explains why he was so eager to go on this honeymoon.
"Uhh yeah, that's fine. Not like we're a couple or anything." She said quickly before looking at the window again.
"But I've booked two rooms next to each other, so if you need me I'm just a knock away." He said trying to ease the awkwardness.
