Good news? pt 3

The next morning Raghvi woke up in pure excitement. They were very excited to tell the rest of the family the good news. Both stayed in bed for a good 5 mins arguing about who is going to be the first one to tell the family the news. Both being stubborn could not decide. Pallavi finally decided that both of them will surprise the family with a party and will tell them the news together. Pallavi was in the midst of getting up from the bed when she heard, "Stop!!!"
She turned to look back at her husband only to realise he sprinted to her side of the bed, standing in front of her.
"Kya hua Raghav?" She said genuinely confused.

" here take my hand, from now on I'll help you get up from the bed. You need to be careful sweetheart." He said as he extended his hand out towards her.

Pallavi giggled at his antics but still took his hand as she knew he wouldn't give up and replied;
"Raghav I think I'll be able to manage getting up from bed. You don't need to do all this for me."

Raghav gently pulled her up and said; " Palls baby I will not risk putting you or our baby's life in danger. So no matter how small the task is I will do it for you. Get used to it."

She nodded her head in agreement kissed him on the cheek and left to go have a shower.

"You know, I can help you shower too." Raghav said mischievously.

"I'm sure you'd love that but in your dreams Mr. Rao" She said laughing as she closed their bathroom door.

"Oh Palls baby, you've been in my dreams since the day I met you." He whispered.

After her shower she came out and saw her husband sitting on their bed scrolling through his phone. She was confused about that because he would usually go downstairs and wait for her. She was about to ask him when he cut her off and said;
" I know what you're thinking, but from now on I'll go downstairs with you. Who knows when you'll need my help for something. I wanna be by your side through everything."

She smiled at her husband. She was actually enjoying him giving her all the attention in the world. She giggled whilst getting dressed at the thought of her husband taking care of her every need no matter how little during this pregnancy. Even though she likes to be independent she secretly loved the effort he's been putting in.

After both of them got dressed, they both walked downstairs. Raghav made sure to hold her hand just in case she slips. Even when they reached the dining table he had his hands placed on lower back and made her sit down comfortably. She protested about wanting to go make breakfast for the family but Raghav told her that they have staff to make food for them. She sighed in defeat cause she knew she can't convince her husband otherwise.

Amma and Keerti came and sat down with the beloved couple. They were all chatting and enjoying their breakfast when pallavi noticed Amma staring at her.
"Amma, are you okay?" She asked concerned.

" hmm? Yeah I'm fine, I was just noticing that you're really glowing today Pallavi." She replied back
" haan, you are glowing more than usual pallavi." Said keerti.

Pallavi blushed, thanking them and looked at Raghav. The mother and daughter duo noticed and teased the couple.

They got up and excused themselves from the awkwardness.
Pallavi followed Raghav into his office and said, " I really want to tell them raghav." She pouted cutely.
" sweetheart, I have an idea. Let's go shopping." He said grabbing her hand gently.

"Shopping? But what for?" She questioned.
"Just trust me on this." He said.

The couple went down to the family room and called the other members of the Rao family and told them not to go anywhere tonight as they will be having a family dinner. As Raghvi said their goodbyes he told Amma to invite the deshmukh family over too, since it's been a while for the whole family to get together.
