Conspiracy

The next day, the queue for meals moved faster than usual. Everyone got utensils and sat down. The food was special today. This baffled everyone. The hall was noisy as always, the cook added something to a cup of water and passes it to Zaga "Here you go, now play your role "They nodded in unison, and zaga walked and left the hall. Don wasn't having breakfast, so she sent for a cup of water and zaga volunteered to give it to her.

"Knock! knock!" she said.

 Don opened the door." Thanks, " she replied and gulped it in a hurry. Zaga watched her, expecting something to happen. Don gave her the cup and asked "Are you looking for something?" Zaga, still expecting the aftermath of the drug, added to Don's drink, shook her head and replied "No" she took the glass cup and headed for the door.

"Ah!" Don muttered. Zaga had a sigh of relief and carried Don- already passed out, and laid her on the bed. "Now you be a good girl and don't ruin our plans."

Rudev got to the front of the line and smiled at the cook "Good morning ma"

The cook smiled back and replied, "I just love today, don't you think?"
Eve glanced at rudev at how suspicious the cook was sounding. Rudev forced a smile and left the queue with her food." How weird?" eve said 

"I know right? her smiling at me gave me goosebumps" rudev replied. They got to their seats at the grand table and started devouring the meal.

Rudev's head started spinning all of a sudden. She placed her hands on her forehead and muttered"Eve, my head hurts" But eve didn't hear her with all the noise in the hall.

Rudev's vision became blurry, was it perhaps the food? She stood up but staggered, she became unstable. As soon as Dianne noticed this, she smiled and said"The fun is about to happen"

She beckoned to two ladies who knew their role in the scene they were about to create. Rudev knelt for a short while"Are you okay?" eve asked. Rudev's head started spinning

"What's happening" she could hear her voice fainting. The two ladies began conversing next to rudev"You know, I heard rudev mary is king Ephraim's daughter"

"The one that died recently?" the other lady replied. Rudev could hear them loudly because it wasn't supposed to be gossip. They continued

"Isn't she the one that killed him"

Rudev regained her strength but not her sanity when she heard that. The drug was supposed to make her lose control and act furious at little things.

"If I were a princess, I would cherish my dad. At least if I didn't  love him, I would fake it just to enjoy his position, why would I kill him?"

Rudev picked up a jug containing water and poured it directly on the lady's head."Ah!' she cringed and stood up. The drama had already begun and all eyes were on them. Eve couldn't understand why rudev would do that.

"I didn't kill my dad!" she said glaring into their eyes.

Rudev continued"What did you say?" She threw all the plates on their table in rage. Everyone screamed. The lady glanced at Dianne, who told her to go on. 

"I said, you're a bastard and responsible for your life's misery!"She yelled. Rudev couldn't believe her ears. Eve knew exactly what was going on when the lady said that"Rudev ignore her"eve whispered to her ears.

Everyone screamed"Fight, fight fight!
Eve tried to calm rudev down but rudev was not in her right senses. Dianne noticed rudev wasn't reacting the way she should so she told the lady to keep ongoing.

"What are you gonna do now? Kill me like how you killed your dad!..." The crowd rumbled and gathered them."You think I killed my dad..." rudev paced around aggressively looking for something. "I'll show you..."

 Rudev picked up a plate and aimed at the lady, fortunately for her, she ducked. The drug was finally playing its role, exactly what Dianne needed. Rudev lost her sanity, she picked up a chair and did the same too. All this started a riot in the hall. Eve panicked and tried calming rudev down but rudev pushed her aside. The ladies started running, but rudev ran after them. Dianne walked towards one of the wardens on duty "Please we need the Si, there's a situation"Eve spotted Dianne and immediately put the pieces together. 

Rudev meanwhile was still on the chase, knocking everything in her path to get to the women. The women entered a room and locked themselves in.

"Come out now !" Rudev screamed, she looked around and spotted a bucket full of water, she lifted it and slammed it at the door causing water to spill and slip into the room.

The Si got the message from Dianne and was on her way to find out what needed her attention. She could hear noises coming from the hall. Eve was out of ideas, she looked perplexed 

"What do I do now?" she bit her nails. "I have to stop SI from coming here, if not rudev will get into trouble" She ran towards the SI and took the keys from her pocket. 

"Catch me if you can," Eve said to SI.

"You pest..." she muttered and pursued eve immediately. Eve's distraction was working but she was going to get into trouble"The things I do for rudev" she whispered.

Dianne got the information that SI wouldn't be showing up

"What do we do now?" she asked Zaga rasta. 

Dianne looked at zaga with dying curiosity. "We have to find the girl, first" They left the hall in search of rudev.

Rudev was exhausted, she was really tired so she leaned against a wall. "What have I done?" she muttered. Zaga and Dianne approached her and shouted"You, come here!" Rudev ignored them at first but when they came closer, she stood up and replied"What do you want?"Her voice sounds faint.  Zaga and Dianne shared a maniacal grim and walked toward rudev.
