Stone to Heart

The next morning.

Sofia didn't believe Amrit's confession, but they threw him into the dungeon in the meantime. They were all in the living room. The incident last night was unforgettable. That was the first time they ever got ambushed.

 Sofia looked worried, but she sat on her throne, thinking. Immediately the landline rang  "I'll get it "priel said adjusting her gown while getting up. She picked up the call, and she heard Ephraim's voice 

"Hello, it's me, Ephraim..."He sounded like he was in a hurry or scared. Priel gasped and screamed, "Uncle!"

Everyone became shocked, they all stopped whatever they were doing and faced her.

"It's uncle!" priel yelled again. Sofia rushed towards her and took the phone "Hello Ephraim...where are you?"

Amira also got up and stood at Sofia's back with curiosity. 

"I'm doing fine... but you have to give them..."all of a sudden he stopped talking and it sounded like someone was threatening him. A new calm voice was heard, an unfamiliar one and it was a man.

"Hello," Sofia muttered

"Hello, My Queen. I believe you haven't  forgotten me already?"

Sofia replied, "Who is this?"

The voice chuckled and said, "The one who has the king as hostage". 

Amira whispered"Put it on speaker"

She did just that and continued with a much lower tone"What do you want?"

The voice replied, "There's something in your house that I need..."

Sofia became even more confused"Just come to the point!"

"My Queen, don't yell at me...unless you want him back and alive, bring what is mine. When you're ready to give me, I'll be here always" he hung up.

They all began giving opinions

"Let's give him!" amira said.

"What? "Rudev added.

"Let's look for what doesn't belong to us " Dan replied. They all looked in circles together but not everything in the house was for them.

"This is a joke!"Joza screamed."How are we supposed to know what he is talking about!" he added.

"I agree"rudev replied."I think the person is messing with us, if he isn't ready to speak, what should we do?"Amira asked.

They all remained silent, Shira then came in jolly, she bowed at greeted them all. But no one was in the mood, not even Dan but they all managed to apply a smile on their faces.

"Greetings to you all, I know you have been stressed by the present situation going on, that's why I brought in some deserts," Shira said.

Immediately some women came in carrying huge baskets of different pastries and cookies."Woah!" noa and David chorused, they ran and helped the ladies.

This manage to put a smile on everyone's face"Thank you so much"Rudev said. Priel also got up and hugged her, dan became proud of Shira immediately."Thank You "Amira said.

They all sat down and enjoyed themselves for a while then some market women walked in escorted by the knights.

"Greetings my queen !"They bowed.

"How can we help you "Sofia asked putting a cookie in her mouth.

"We just want to say that now our goods have finished and we would love to go harvest from the farm now "the markets lady replied.
