The beginning of the end

Rudev, eve and Joza continued their journey. Eve tried so hard to make Joza laugh, but he wasn't giving in, no matter what she did or said. Rudev didn't even say a word during the journey.She tried to play dumb and ignore the fact that eve was obsessing over joza -just like other girls-but what she pondered on was why joza let the man go.it was either this isnt joza and they kidnappd him and substituted for a lookalike .

As they approached the farm, they saw smoke rising to the sky and people standing and crying afar. They immediately got down. Things looked terrible. Rudev felt very uneasy. They ran toward the farm and what they saw made them stand and gawk. They couldn't move or utter a word. Things were getting really bad.

All their farmlands were on fire. Their source of food and income had disappeared. It was like a nightmare, but it felt too real. The people cried because now they knew they would starve and suffer.

Joza finally muttered, "What happened "

The people responded, "This morning we found the farm like this. Someone set it on fire, but who would do that ?"They cried even more.

Eve and rudev were about to cry but no luck for rudev. This was devastating, rudev stepped forward and said "Any idea who would do this "

A man stepped forwards holding a box, the box looked decorated. He handed it to them and said "This was here when the farmland was burning, we believe our enemy must have done it because a letter was found inside"

Joza opened the box and took out the letter, he read out loud"Don't mess with me, your family has what I need. This is the tip of the iceberg, I'm coming for you"

Rudev sighed in frustration"What! this is too far"

"How are we going to tell your mum?" eve asked. Rudev and Joza shared a nervous glance.

They got back home and staggered in. They didn't know how to break the news, everyone seemed relaxed for now but Ephraim was still on their minds, they were not ready to hear the heartbreaking news.

Sofia noticed they looked sad, she asked"What's going on?"

No one expected to hear what Joza said next"Our farmland...has been burnt ...down"

Amira collapsed immediately."Grandma!"Priel yelled and ran towards her. Dan also helped but Amira had passed out. Sofia stood in awe, she was speechless, she fell on her seat. Rudev ran and hugged Sofia"Mum, are you okay?"

Sofia didn't reply, she was too shocked.

"Someone please call Hakim, Grandma is unconscious" Dan cried. Eve ran out and did as he said. The family was collapsing as far as they were concerned but the whole Kingdom would now suffer for it.

Sofia muttered, "Why is this happening?"

Joza replied "Our unknown enemy is responsible for this. We have to find what they want, or things can get really ugly"

"What could happen that's worse than this"Priel cried.

Sofia toughened up and got up "Whoever is doing this will pay!"

Rudev shook her head and replied, "Everything isn't about violence mum"

Sofia screamed at her "Give me a better idea rudev!"

"Okay, we could just wait for another phone call then we negotiate with them"rudev suggested.

"This person is messing with the wrong family! I Sofia would make sure do deal with them" Sofia concluded and left.

Rudev sighed and took a deep breath.

Joza sat on the chair getting ready to leave the house, eve saw him and walked towards him"Hello" She waved.

He looked at her and smiled.

"Um I think you're hungry, do you mind if I get you pudding?" she said pointing at the kitchen. Joza shook his head signifying no, Eve then frowned. Joza looked at her again and said"On second thought, I'm going out, do you want to come with me ?"

Eve replied with a smile. he stood up and said, "Let's go".She followed him happily.As they walked out ,The hakims came in and and greeted"Greetings !"
Dan attended to them"Come in,my grandma is unconscious"They replied with a bow and walked close to amira who was lying on a mat.

"Will she be okay?"Dan asked standing next to them.

The hakims didn't seem glad at all at their results"This old lady will be laid off, for now, she won't become conscious anytime now. She's stressed and will have to rest."

"When will she wake up?"Dan asked again

"That I can't tell"They replied. They packed their bags and left, Priel sobbed and rushed away to enter the bathroom, she entered to wipe her tears.

As soon as she got in, she poured water on her face but the tears only rushed out more.She looked up at the mirror and what she saw made her scream.

Dan screamed her name"Priel!"

Rudev also followed as she was the only one present. They opened the door quickly, the last thing they wanted was for priel to be harmed.

They saw Priel on the floor, she was fine but she stared at the mirror in shock. They also turned to the mirror and saw a writing with red marker , their enemy left a message again.

 "All I need is for you to suffer, if you won't give me what is mine I'll finish you off. And that your queen that never listens, I'll make sure to break her into pieces."
An intense music played in their heads,dan breathed heavily and priel rembled.

They helped priel get up and walked out the bathroom."Can someone go clean that!"Dan ordered the maids.The nearby maids ran to clean the mess.

"What next? First Dad, now our land and grandma. What do they want from us "Dan pondered, he looked up and down until his eyes caught something. Could that be the answer? Could the Jaguar be the thing they wanted? If that's the case, then we might know our enemies."
