A friend indeed

"Do you know what will happen to those girls including eve?" Don asked rudev. They were both having dinner in Don's room.

"What?" she replied.

Don sighed and explained to her," The Mafias are drug barons. They sell drugs to other countries and right now the security is tight, so they'll..." Don paused for a while. Rudev was about to have a meltdown. "What?!" rudev asked.

"They'll implant drugs in them and carry them over, " Don replied. Rudev wasn't following, she wanted a vivid explanation of what implant means.

"It means they'll perform surgery on them and put the drugs inside of them!" Don said. Rudev stopped her food and got up immediately.

"They can't do that!" She yelled. 

"Yes they can and they will do it"Don replied also getting up."What if they die?" she thought of eve and panicked even more 

"I shouldn't have made this stupid plan" she muttered, She wasn't herself anymore, she bit her nails and paced up and down the room. Don held her tight and calmed her down.

"What do I do," she said

"Nothing" Don replied.

Eve and Delilah were still tied up, their plan could not be put into action as long as they were still trapped. Delilah sighed and whispered "Eve..." but eve didn't reply.

"Eve, what do we do ?" she whispered again. The room was too quiet, it was almost as if the women had fallen asleep, it was late at night so it was expected.

Suddenly, Delilah felt someone untying her ropes and blindfold, could this be a saviour? 

She  couldn't wait to see who, as soon as she could see again, she said"Eve?"

She was surprised, "how did you escape ?" she asked. Eve didn't respond 

She walked out and Delilah was right behind her. Eve walked  faster than Delilah, Delilah had to pull her back"Why are you in a hurry?"

Eve replied" can't you see we've wasted time already in fulfilling our plan, I got us out of there and you can't even appreciate it "

"Yikes! rude!" Delilah replied. Eve ignored her and moved even faster, "we have to be quiet" Delilah whispered. "You think I don't know that, "eve said bluntly.

"This is why I work alone," Eve said. They continued walking stealthily, they hid under a table as soon as they saw a man loitering.

"What's next?"Delilah asked. Eve pointed at a landline and replied"You see that landline, we'll call the Place knights and by tomorrow they'll be here" Delilah didn't understand the sudden change in eve's character. Eve acted coldly toward her and it felt awkward. They climbed up the stairs, and as soon as they saw men coming toward them,  they hid in a corner.

They finally got to the landline,  Delilah dialled a number and waited for it to be answered. The call wasn't getting picked up and they both felt tensed being in the open like that.

Delilah tried multiple times while eve stood behind her.

"So after stopping the mafia, we'll send them to jail?" Eve asked

"Of course "Delilah replied still trying the line.

"Then what?" eve asked again. All these questions weren't helping Delilah at the moment. 

"The trafficking will end hopefully" she replied. 

"Then we'll go back to jail just like before? "Eve said.

Delilah became frustrated with the same response to the call. It wasn't going through, she wiped her sweat from her forehead"Yes we will, but at least we did the right thing" Dellah yelled.

Suddenly eve remained quiet, this bothered Delilah she thought she must have upset her or something. A man started climbing up the stairs slowly, Delilah turned back to check up on eve. What she saw shocked her to the core Eve was behind her holding a cut telephone cord, she also pointed a sword at her. Eve shook her head  and said 

"I'm not going back"

Delilah trembled with fear "What are you doing?" she stuttered

"Get down!" eve screamed. 

Delilah became confused "I said get down!" Delilah did as she said. The man walked upstairs and clapped his hands together. He was happy at eve's performance.

"Incredible," he said. Eve looked at him and smiled. "Thank you," she replied.

Delilah wasn't following. "I never knew you would be serious about working with me," he said. Delilah froze in shock, she couldn't believe her ears.

"As soon as you freed me and allowed me to demonstrate my worth, I knew you wouldn't be disappointed"Eve replied.

"You work for him!" Delilah screamed.

"What do you think? I made a small deal for freedom"Eve boasted.

Delilah was highly disappointed" Rudev would be disappointed," she said. This comment made eve frown. 

Delilah was taken away by Kahuna's men and eve was still short of words. Kahuna tapped her on her shoulders and said "You made the right decision"
