RUDEV MARY

Public enemy number 1

The next day, everyone was getting ready to take a shower. Eve and rudev placed their buckets on the queue and stood chatting.

"Don't forget tonight," eve said to rudev. Rudev didn't remember what was happening in the night, she asked.

"What ?"

Eve punched her softly and replied, "The re-match with Dianne, she lost me, remember? Now she wants me back! My life now depends on you helping me "

Rudev nodded. "I know, I know. I'll give her a condition. She'll have to give me eight more house pets. " Rudev smiled sinisterly at eve. Eve bursts into laughter. "She'll have to be dumb to make that deal. " They laughed even harder. The queue moved. That was when rudev spotted zaga rasta bullying a lady.

"I said get in !" she yelled dipping the lady's head into the well. Rudev immediately frowned and took a step forward, eve noticed rudev and pulled her back"Must you always create a scene? let's go now, it's none of our business"

Rudev let go of eve's hands slowly"Stop being a coward, this needs my attention, the woman is in pain and no one seems to care"

She walked towards Zaga hurriedly and screamed"Stop and let her go Zaga !" Zaga turned to her, the poor lady took the opportunity and fled. Eve was getting uncomfortable with the looks rudev was getting. "You again??" she glared at rudev and walked closer to her.

"What are you trying to prove in this jail, stay in your lane, you just arrived, "Zaga said again. Rudev applied a smug on her face and replied"I don't know why everyone is so scared of speaking the truth! You were about to push this lady and everyone just acted like she wasn't pleading and begging for help" rudev faced everyone and continued"What would you do if that were you?" 

Zaga pulled rudev by the hair to stop her from talking, and rudev screamed. Eve couldn't stand rudev being in pain, rudev was right, after all, she's a coward. 

"Just wait till I call Don!" Everyone turned to the voice that didn't sound like rudev's voice for the first time. It took all the courage in eve's bones to shout that. Rudev was very impressed but still in pain"Let me go!" she screamed louder. Zaga replied eve with a smirk on her face "So you will call Don?"

Eve started trembling but didn't want it to be obvious "Yes, I would " eve took some steps back to make her bluff be taken seriously. Her attempt worked, zaga released rudev. 

Zaga felt very ashamed, the sound of Don scared her and she didn't like it. Moreover, everyone was staring and this pissed her. She left with the little respect she had left.

Rudev smiled at eve, "Wow, you proved me wrong. "

Eve hugged her tightly"Please stop testing me like that !" This was the best friendship rudev had ever had in her entire life or maybe the only one.

"Welcome to another gambling night!" Khalifa screamed. She cat-walked on the table to flaunted herself to entertain everyone. She stopped and continued"I have two good news, the first is our last trafficked girls would be returning tonight ...." Everyone cheered. 

"...And the second is Dianne requested for a rematch for a game she lost to the new kid" Everyone turned to rudev and cheered. 

"So rudev, what do you have to say ?" khalifa asked.

Rudev was sitting crossing her legs, she stood and replied"Sure only if she trades eight more if I win" Everyone turned to Dianne for a reply while rudev looked at eve.

"Dianne was also sitting when she replied"If I win, I want you and your housepet to belong to me". Eve immediately screamed "No!"

"Calm down" rudev whispered to her. Everyone began to murmur, this bet was even more interesting. Rudev however took the risk "Touche'"

The game began and the cards were arranged. At this point, eve could no longer understand rudev at all. "She takes too many risks" were the thoughts that ran across eve's mind. 

This was a short game. Rudev won the first round, then won again. Dianne scattered the cards in fury and turned the tables upside down.

Of course, rudev was congratulated, she won eight house pets from Dianne. Other kingpins challenged her but ended up winning or losing. She made new friends and enemies that night and a total of twelve house pets. Don was highly dazzled by rudev's performance likewise Khalifa. They hung out more with her during her first two months in jail. She became very close to Don which bought her respect. She played gambling often and gained more housepets she was well known and her rank was increasing. So many people envied her but rudev remained confident, she trained eve to stand up for herself. The jail wasn't jail for young rudev anymore. She now has a total of fifty-six housepets and a tight friendship with Don. What could go wrong?

Zaga slammed her fist through the walls." I hate that kid" she muttered.

"Easy now, you don't hate her more than me," Dianne replied easing Zaga's pain. The cook interrupted them saying"That girl can't just have her way in this place. Just two months and she's what she is, we have to cut her down to size"

Dianne nodded and said"But how? Don is always on her side "

"Let's just kill her" zaga suggested. They both stared at her with displeasure.

"No, I am not going to do that! Let us make her life in jail an actual jail, she has to be like the others "Dianne said. 

"We have to get her punished by higher authorities" cook suggested. 

They all shared an evil glance and chorused"SI"
