Everyone present in the sitting room disappeared and continued with their various duties. Sir Alfred, of course, very cunning and mischievous, stood in the middle of the room alone. He stroked his beard and paced around the living room in his golden tunic under purple linen soliloquising to himself, "This rude child, I can't believe she insulted my children..." he sat on the royal chair and slouched putting his muscular arms on the arm of the chair. He sighed reliefly and continued"someday this throne would be mine, then rudev will know her place with me and my children" then He frowned like he just recalled something sad"how wish my sweet dear wife were alie to witness my dream".He grinned again"its okay, she'll be proud from wherever she is"

Rudev sat on the floor of her room sulking. She felt bad for not attending the function that took place in the morning. Her dad walked in and tapped her shoulder.
"You know, I love you whether you impress me," he said softly trying to calm rudev down. "I think you're the best child, " he continues. Rudev smiled at him and said,
"I'm sorry I couldn't make it, believe me. "
Ephraim sat close to her and said, "My birthday hasn't ended yet. It's still today. And we are holding a function tonight to celebrate it so cheer up because you can still make it "
Rudev smiled and hugged him
"You know I even skipped shower because of it " rudev muttered. Ephraim pretended not to hear that. He pecked her forehead and rubbed her slowly.
Alfred paced around in his room cooking up a plan, as usual, he has had something against his brother ever since Ephraim became KIng. Jealousy forced him to make wicked and harsh decisions but he has never succeeded which is still evident. Alfred will do anything to get that throne whether by hook or by crook. He picked up his Landline and dialled a number
"Hello... I need your help ..."
9:00pm
The castle was getting congested with guests celebrating the King's birthday. The castle was always beautiful. The golden living room had walls and cornice made of marble, the vault and padugs with stucco gilded decorations, and between them with whitewash. The vaulted ceiling and window embrasures gave this large room a cavernous air. The function was a huge one, there were lots of delicacies and decorations. Important people from different places were present. It was like never before, people dined, wined and chatted.
Rudev, Dan, Priel and Rebecca stood outside looking cute,Priel ,Rebecca and rudev wore matching purple tunics and jewels that fit their slender body and their long hair was decorated with flowers.Dan also wore a purple linen but with a golden tunic . They welcomed guests by giving them flowers and smiling just as amira told them to.The outside of the palace had gardens and secret patios,as a haven full of flowering fragrences and nooks and crannies of sheer delight. It was decorated impressively with a lot of lights, candles and flowers around the entrance.A man walked in, he looked suspicious, he was putting on a scarf and holding a bag, he walked by like he didn't want to be welcomed by them.
"Greetings Sir, Can I help you with that ?" Dan said pointing at the bag but he shook his head. He looked like he was in a hurry.
"Have a rose " rudev smiled and looked at him. He shook his head and walked in leaving her hanging. This made them all share a glance of suspicion but they couldn't quit their task or amira wouldn't spare them even dan being tall with broad shoulders couldn't undermine amira. Everyone got in sooner or later, the hall was filled up, and the king was about to give his speech. He stood in the centre of the hall , the crowd cheered for him. Rudev beamed, at least she made it on time for this. The king was putting on a robe and tunic with fine pieces of jewellery, he looked decent and extravagant. He smiled and rubbed his oiled beard gently, his voice rumbled as he began.
"I the king ... solely want to thank you all for making it here today..."
The suspicious man walked upstairs stealthily when no one was looking, he carried his bag along with him.
The king was still speaking, everyone was paying attention except rudev and other kids, she was looking around after all she was just a child with no interest in speeches, She noticed the chandelier made of diamonds was moving as if it was being tampered with. She was so focused on it but no one else noticed. Suddenly a piece of diamond dropped on the floor close to rudev,it made this loud noise that only her could hear,it slid and touched her feet, she slowly looked down and picked it up. She looked around, then priel disturbed her
"you're stealing now ?!" she tisked and laughed while twirling her red curly hair.
Rudev shook her head at her and said "Please, you and I are not alike. Don't compare..."
Priel sneered and strutted away in anger.
"She messes with me and she's the one that gets mad " rudev murmured. She continued looking at the chandelier. The rope holding the chandelier cut and it fell slowly. The ceiling was far from the ground so people didn't notice easily, the king was the main target, rudev looked up after being distracted for a while, she was shocked as the chandelier fell.Fear didn't allow her to react but she screamed, "Look out!"
Everyone wonder why she was screaming, a man then chimed in "The chandelier !" everyone exclaimed, there was pandemonium in the hall. They all scattered in different directions seeking refuge. "If that hits the ground, so many people will get hurt," she thought to herself. The knights tried to protect the people but the noise and recklessness were too much
"Open the door!" The king hollered as he was escorted by some knights .
The door was opened slowly but most people squeezed through it running out as fast as possible. Then it hit the ground and caused what seemed like an explosion of diamonds. People ducked and some couldn't, it made a loud noise and diamonds were all over the place. After what seemed like forever, they all rose and stared with relief. Rudev was still on the ground panting fast with her heart racing. One of the knights looked up and spotted the suspicious man responsible for this
"It's him. Get him!" The man began to run which confirmed their suspicions. The knights were after his life, but he sprinted and jumped. Rudev reached for her bow and arrow and tied it to a rope which she found. The knights were onto him but he pushed anyone in his way because he was holding a dagger, the people cleared a path for him. Rudev waited for the right time. as soon as he was heading for the door, she shot her arrow. The man stopped and bent down watching the arrow pass him slowly but rudev wasn't aiming at him. The arrow passed in between the handles of the door, the rope attached to it sealed the handles together, rudev pulled and the door slammed together. Of course, this meant he was trapped and had to face the consequences.
"How come... ?" he was confused at such a masterpiece he saw. He was arrested and put in the dungeon.
"You still got it, young rudev " a knight patted her shoulder. She smiled and nodded , everyone stared at her in awe, she was literary an arching machine. King Ephraim then said
"I'm proud of my daughter " Everyone agreed, clapped and praised her. Rudev was the hero of the day as far as they were concerned, this made her beam with joy.
