The next rudev

An eagle is seen flying in the sky. It flew across a border which stated Empire Persia. It passes through the rowdy market first. Everyone was busy, and it was very crowded. The population had increased by double the size. The eagle passed through the houses in the kingdom and perched on a roof, gazing at the palace. It has been eight years since rudev got out of jail. The kingdom had developed industrially and economically. It looked more beautiful than ever and seemed peaceful, but the new law that guided caused the strange orderliness of the people they called the act. Ephraim was still king, but he travelled a lot to visit other kingdoms, leaving Sofia behind to rule.

 Sofia ruled like no other lady. She was stiff and stern, call it strict or wicked, but no one could get past her. She made the citizens tremble at the sight of the family and give them all the respect they needed. This cautioned the people and reduced corruption, but fear reigned in their hearts. The new law was violence and no mercy. While she had a good heart, she would never show it. The incident with Alfred caused her sudden change of character, almost killing her husband and destroying her family, so now she would make sure that no one gets that opportunity again.

In the sitting room

Sofia, Dan and Joza stood surrounding a man. The man looked like he had been crying and begging because he was on his knees.

"Please Queen Sofia...I would never steal again in my life" he pleaded for the 99th time.

"In your next life, I know you wouldn't "Sofia beckoned to joza to behead the man. He cried more knowing that this was his final destination.

"Please my queen..." Sofia showed no mercy, she told Joza to go ahead. But before Joza could kill the man, a voice was heard from upstairs screaming"Sofia!"

They all turned and saw Amira coming down. Sofia tisked and rolled her eyes  and said"Mother, what do you want now?"

"You can't go ahead killing people for petty reasons..."Amira faced joza"...You! put down that sword"Joza did as she said. The man immediately crawled and touched amira's feet.

"Thank you Madam Amira!" he cried.

Sofia became too upset and groaned"Mum! You cant come in and make laws when I'm around"

"Of course, I can," she told the man to get up and leave. the man ran as quick as possible without looking back.

"Now you all can go now and do the family business"amira ordered them.

They all left leaving Sofia behind."Mum what was that!!"

"Ephraim will be back today, maybe he'll speak some sense into your head" amira also walked out. Sofia was pissed but could do nothing so she sat back on her throne.

 Joza hopped on the chariot alongside his knights"My mum wants me to go check on the new set of men that were sent to us. I'll be on my way"Joza said tapping his horse on its back. Joza is now twenty-one years old. He's very handsome and considered an adonis to most women in the kingdom, but underneath that charm is rage, he's the most feared man in the family, he's very lousy and gets irritated and very violent. He obeys Sofia's instructions so she considers him a son.

As soon as Joza and his knights moved, rudev and priel raised their heads slowly from their hiding spot.

"Ok that's your cue..."rudev says to priel.

Priel stood up and walked towards one of the knights, she began her role." I've been thinking..." she said twirling her hair.

Rudev stifled her laughter and stealthily stole one of the horses and followed Joza. Immediately priel stopped her role and said"...forget everything I just said"she sashayed away leaving the knight amused. Both priel and rudev were nineteen years old. priel was super pretty, she was a popular flirt but showed no interest in most of them. Many men would do anything just for priel to get her attention but priel was super snobbish. She acted so fancy and always liked dancing. She and rudev became close and they committed shenanigans together.

"If Joza catches rudev, I just hope she wouldn't call my name because joza will deal with me"priel muttered.

Rudev got to the training field and put on a knight outfit. she wore her helmet to conceal her identity while she trained with them. They marched round in joza's orders and performed some stunts. The training went smoothly until a man made a mistake. The atmosphere immediately became quiet and gloomy.

The man shivered with fear and knew he was in trouble...Joza raised his hands signifying they should all stop. This wasn't good, joza walked towards the man and said"What was that!"

The man cried"I'm sorry, it was a mistake"He trembled and took steps backwards as Joza moved towards him.

"I don't tolerate mistakes, "joza said with a stern look."Now I want you to..." all the other knights looked up not interfering because they dared not to. Joza continued"...I want you to place your sword in your mouth and ..."

The man fell to his knees begging. Joza kicked him and wanted to continue before...

"Joza!"Rudev screamed his name.

Joza looked at her in shock."I'll deal with you later" Joza said  to her, he turned to the man and continued "Rudev cannot save you, you better obey me..."

"Don't !" Rudev screamed.

Joza groaned and said to the man"Don't let this girl be the cause of your death"

"No!"rudev screamed again.

The man became confused. He panicked and turned his head left and right severally.

Rudev walked towards Joza and said"I can stop you!" she flipped her hair and glared at him.
