"Ight since you don't want me to put it out, I'll just send you the song." Keilan said. We had been in the studio for hours working on this song.
"Cool wit' me." I said.
"Bet." He said. "You really do got a nice voice though, and I can tell you love writing songs. Wouldn't hurt to do what you love and get paid for it." He shrugged.
"Thank you but I don't know." I said. "We been in here for hours, don't you have artists who had sessions today?" I asked.
"Yeah. You actin like we been in here all day it's only 1:00, got the whole day left." He chuckled.
"When's your next session?" I asked.
"1:45." He said.
"Well since we're done, I guess I'll see you later." I stood up.
"See you later? You must wanna see me again." He smirked.
"Bye Keilan." I chuckled leaving out closing the door.
"That's what I said I don't understand why Kado doesn't have me as his main focus. He's a natural flirt and thinks that doesn't make me feel some type of way." I heard this girl say on the phone as she walked down the hall.
"Did you just come out of there?" She asked me.
"Why?" I asked.
"Never seen you around here before you must be a new artist. He's doing favors again I see." She said slickly.
"Im sorry are you supposed to know me?" I asked.
"He's my boyfriend I know everyone he knows." She said,
"Clearly you don't, excuse me." I said walking passed her. I don't give a fuck who somebody is don't try to make slick comments at me like I'm not gone say nothing back.
As I walked to my car, my mom had called me.
"Hey mommy." I smiled.
"Hey daughter." She said as I continued walking. "What you doing right now?" She asked.
"Nothing, Why?" I unlocked my car door and pulled the handle to open the door.
"Amiri got in trouble at school and I'm doing a tattoo right now and Semaj is handling some business with his building." She explained.
"I'll go get him, what kind of trouble did he get into." I said putting my purse in the passenger's seat.
"Fighting, I don't know what's gotten into him lately but me and Semaj gone try to talk to him about it." She said.
One thing about my parents and Semaj, they always made sure we were comfortable coming to them about anything and comfortable talking to them.
"Okay, I'm on my way right now. Maybe I can talk to him, I know he was telling me how it seem like I'm distant from him. However long his suspension is he can be at my house. " I suggested.
