"Here the papers I had to sign." I said to the twins before they walked out the door but Amiri was already outsidr
"See you later mama." Ai'launi kissed me on the cheek.
"See you later." I said.
"Tell daddy i said see him later too imma be late." She laughed before leaving out the do.
After they left I went upstairs to get Keoni ready for school but the time I made it to his room Semaj was helping him put on his clothes so I went back to the kitchen to fix his lunch.
"Stop runnin' before you fall." Semaj came downstairs with Keoni.
"I'm not gone fall." He laughed.
"Here you go." I smiled giving him his lunch box and I could just feel Semaj looking at me. "Where you finna go?" I asked cause usually Fridays are the days I take him to school.
"Finna take him to school, come ride wit me so we can talk." He mumbled.
"I don't wanna go to school I wanna stay here with y'all." Keoni said.
"It's friday you can knockout this one day and it's the last day." Semaj chuckled.
"I'm tired of school." He huffed.
"You can miss Monday." Semaj said.
"Okay." He mumbled looking down.
"Let's go so you can get some breakfast." I said as we walked out the house and Semaj helped him in the car while I got on my phone after I let the music play from radio station.
"Where you wanna get?" Semaj asked him.
"I want a mcgriddle." He said.

When Semaj came back from taking Keoni inside the school building I was still just on my phone while he drove. I ain't even realized he parked in a parking lot somewhere until he grabbed my phone out my hand.
"Why you take my phone?" I looked at him.
"Cause we need to talk and you just been on yo' phone not sayin shit." He said.
"What i'm supposed to say when Keoni in the car?" I asked.
"You know what I meant." He said.
"I don't get why I have to talk anyways you the one that's in the wrong. You don't even give a fuck that you did it, you don't feel bad do you?" I asked.
"I used to but the shit was years ago I got over it. You only feel some type of way cause now Serayah in the middle of it." He said.
"No i don't, if she wasn't I would still feel the same way because I have sympathy. Ain't do shit to you at all but you decided to take their lives while they left behind kids." I said.
