"Okay c'mon y'all ready?" I asked the kids. Siah wasn't answering his phone and I had soundcheck this morning since my performance is later on.
We walked outside as I held their hands until i opened the door to the backseat making sure they got in good. After putting the child lock on.
I took a deep breath getting in my car as well before calling my mom.
"Hey mama, sorry i'm running behind Siah didn't come like he was supposed to and he's not answering the phone." I said pushing the push start button.
"It's okay we not on a time frame just get her whenever you can." She said. "How my baby doing?" She asked.
"Girl bad as ever he 5 but he pushing 35." I said and she laughed as i backed out of the driveway.
"He don't get it from nobody but his daddy chile, what you doing with this celebration dinner?" She asked.
"Just my friends." I shrugged. "I really just told Dessi and Trina i still gotta tell Kari nem." I said.
"Wowwww so i can't come?" She asked.
"Mama just this once." I chuckled.
"Mhm, so is Keilan and Siah coming?" She asked.
"Oh I haven't told Siah yet and i might invite Kel too." I mumbled.
"Serayah Aubrie Harris you know damn well that's not a good idea, are you trying to get caught up has my life not taught you anything." She asked.
"Well that's a possibility but i'm single and they're all my friends- yeah and two of them you did something with listen to me, your lovely mom, and don't do that." She said. "It's already gone be a lot with Keilan and Siah in the same room."
"Learn from my mistakes Serayah." She said.
"He probably on a flight back to his new club anyways, you know i don't think it's anything's serious with him. Like it was just a oh i'm not finna see you again this how i say bye." I said.
