"I was expecting you to come in today." Ms.D smiled. "How are you feeling since today marks the anniversary of your parent's death?" Ms. D asked and I shrugged.
"Ion know." I shrugged.
"Are you looking for advice or you just want to vent?" She asked.
"Vent but I do need some advice on some else." I said and she nodded.
"You saw it happened right?" She asked and I sighed.
"I heard it happen, but when they left I saw em' bleeding out and I just kept thinking about it today." I said. "My auntie been texting me all day and shii checking on me but my babymama pissed me off earlier." I said.
"What did she do?" She asked.
"Basically saying that since i'm not gone be in Rhode Island that i need to go on child support since i'm not gone see my baby all the time." I said.
"Am I wrong for not wanting to move there just for my baby?" I asked.
"Not at all. Your whole life and business is here and it seems she doesn't respect that. The smart thing to do would be for her to look for ways you two can co parent while she's in a whole new environment, what' she's doing.....That's not very reasonable." She mumbled.
"Exactly shii sound dumb, then Serayah noticed that I wasn't in the mood today. Ion think I can control myself around her, I keep making a mistake and almost kissing her or slipping up on saying I love you." I said.
"If you've made that mistake more than once it's no longer a mistake keilan, it's a decision. Your mind is set on her and that's okay." She smiled.
"Her mind isn't set on me though, and I don't wanna feel like I'm putting pressure on her." I said.
"How do you know for sure that her mind isn't set? Is she still in a relationship?" She asked.
"Nah they broke up last month. She told me she tryna focus on herself and not focus solely on a significant other." I said.
"Sounds familiar don't you think." She looked at me. "You focused on yourself staying away from not being sober and partying all the time she's just focusing on herself because she's trying to heal." She said.
