We were now at the restaurant and everybody was here, we was just waiting on our food so everyone was just conversing.
It was a coincidence that my mom was sitting in between my dad and Semaj. Meanwhile I was sitting in between my sister and Josiah.
"Ouch." I scrunched my face up and looked at my sister. She pinched my arm.
"What." I said.
"Come to the bathroom with me." She said.
"You could've just said that." I mumbled. "We'll be back." I said grabbing her hand and we went to the bathroom.
"Now what?" I asked. "Cause I know you don't got to pee." I said.
"I keep making eye contact wit' Tj and I don't know how to stop. It's like every time I look up he look up and we both end up looking at each other." She said.
"Ok and?" I chuckled. "This is so cute." I said.
"It's not cute we supposed to be cousins." She said. "We took baths together as babies I can't like him." She said.
"Girl y'all not blood at all, you can like him ain't nun wrong wit' that." I said.
"That's like me sayin you and Kari can like each other- Untun that's so different don't say that.Semaj is literally his uncle. Uncle Tre and momma and not related just have a close friendship. Same with untie Teyana." I cut her off.
"Okay but he has a girlfriend." She said.
"So don't flirt wit' him then." I shrugged.
"But I can't help it we have instant chemistry." She said. "Same with you and Josiah, but you haven't looked his way since y'all greeted each other." She said.
"I-Imma talk to him." I said.
"Mhm." She walked out the bathroom and I walked after her as we went back to the table and they were bringing the food out.
"Bout time." My dad mumbled.
"Shut the hell up Tae and take the damn plate." My momma said and Semaj chuckled.
"I know you not laughing." My dad said and I just shook my head as he grabbed his plate of food.
"Yeah cause it was funny." Semaj said.
"Ight remember when I beat yo' ass." My dad said.
"They serious?" Ai'launi leaned over and whispered.
"No, this how they joke around...Thank you." I said as the waiter handed my plate to me.
"Nah I beat yo' ass." Semaj said.
"Okay y'all beat each other's asses shut up it's my baby's birthday." My mom said and I smiled.
"Right." I laughed.
"Exactly, y'all can have battle of the baby daddies another day." Uncle Tre said and we laughed.
"Ight imma let that slide cause that was funny." My dad shook his head laughing.
