"Aye you know that information I told you to get for me?" I asked Brady.
"Yeah." He said. "I got it." He added.
"Ight im on my way." I hung up then I heard Somebody knocking on my window. I looked to see Serayah so I unlocked the door so she can get in.
"I'm sorry that you didn't get the answers you were looking for." She said softly.
"I told you it's straight, Imma get em even it's not gone be from him." I said.
"Can I ask you a question?" She asked and I nodded.
"What you gone do if you find out who did it?" She asked and I stayed quiet. "Like how do you want to receive your closure?" She asked and I shrugged.
"I just want whoever it is to pay for what they did. That shit left me traumatized as a lil boy." I said. "When I knew that the dudes left I walked out my room and seen both my parents on the floor wit a puddle of blood by they head. They eyes were still open and I still can't get that image out of my head." I explained.
"I locked myself in my room for days after that happen. I went through all type of shit because of that." I said.
"Keilan I know your pain but getting revenge isn't the way to go about it, you wanna throw your career away for who ever did it?" She said.
"Yeah you know my pain but that's easy for you to say. The nigga that did that shit to yo' momma ain't get away wit it, you don't gotta live wit the fact that he walking free while you suffering." I said.
"Keilan getting revenge in the way you want to is not gonna help you. If you get time for it, there goes everything you built for yourself and your brand going down the drain." She said.
"Despite what you went through, you managed to make a career out of something that you did to help distract you from your thoughts. If you do what I think you're gonna do he ain't gone do nothing but win again. He's not gonna suffer because he'll be gone but by that time he'll be the reason why you're behind bars and your talent is thrown away." She explained.
"My parents gone Serayah, I can't never get them back meanwhile the dude that did it probably got a family of his own and living his best life." I explained.
"That's why it be pissing me off so bad when Ayanna say some shit bout them like she throwing it in my face but then i'm the bad person when I react off of it." I chuckled.
"You not wrong for feeling that way about what she does. That's a sensitive topic for you and your feelings are valid." She said.
I don't know what it was about Serayah but i'm just comfortable with her. I ain't never went into detail like this bout what happened except for when I had to explain it to the police. It's just something about her.
