Sunk in George Harrison's arms, Rebecca slept splendidly.
It'd been another lovely day in paradise and the two of them were melted from exhaustion, fast asleep with only the light mild sheets half covering their bodies.
Then a feeling of sheer discomfort interrupted that dazzling peace, making the girl frown in her sleep and squirm over the bed. Her mind suddenly flood with fear, falling into a dark endless swirl which dragged her back to reality. When she finally managed to get out of that darkness, she was sitting in the kitchen at her parents house, although it wasn't her parents because it looked crumbling and lifeless.
The only object there that seemed to move was the clock, which Becca was staring at desperately. She wanted to talk and shout, she wanted to call her family or pet for help, she wanted to talk to Jane, feel George but her voice couldn't come out. She could only watch that clock spin, first painfully slow and then frenzied out of control until it moved crazily senseless as if it was a code.
She began to gasp uneasily when she felt the darkness covering her again, Rebecca was conscious, but she couldn't wake up just shiver abruptly on the bed.
"Becca, my love! Wake up, gorgeous," she heard a worried voice call her and move her shoulder to wake her up.
Which Becca accomplished in the middle of a groan moments after; she was bathed in cold sweat and chills running down her body. Even without being able to focus properly, she managed to blink to see George's worried face very close to her.
His eyes were full of worry, almost desperate.
"Baby, wake up, you were having a bad dream. It's okay, my girl" His voice was warm and sweet. "Are ye okay? Wanna tell me 'bout it? Wanna some cold water?" Geo asked, brushing the hair out of her face gently.
"No, just hold me, please," Rebecca said with a tired sigh. And in that moment she started to sobbing. Terrified of what she just dreamed of. "Por favor, George, por favor abrázame," begged until she felt wrapped again in George's body heat, she sheltered in his bare chest, while kissed her crown and hummed a song to calm her down.

Rebecca dove into the tub's hot water, not before making sure to put the lock on. She knew she didn't have to because George had gone out to buy something and asked her to wait for him there. Which she thanked deep down because she felt terrible.
"I won't be long, baby" placing a soft kiss on her cheekbone, he said. "I just need to check one thing,"
Her mind wandered back and forth, reminiscing all the events of her life during the past eight months. Faces, moments and places bombarding her. Instinctively she looked down at her and touched the necklace she was wearing, a reminder of where she came from and everything she left behind.
The knot with the past and future.
If she reviewed everything, it was so incredible to tell, to believe and to do. Why'd she had the opportunity to do such a feat? Why she? Traveling in time hadn't been so complicated as it was said to be, neither blending into a new era. Sometimes it was even easier than the future. Because everything keep falling under its own weight perfectly, unreal and fitting together as if it was written.
