December 16 1965.

Rebecca kept thinking there must be many stories that ended like La La Land: loving each other deeply, but not necessarily ending together. Reminiscing the fact of how every time she watched the film, either alone or with friends, she always ended up in tears with a broken heart, made her feel ashamed.

Just like when she saw Your Name, not half an hour passed and Becca was already crying, totally touched by the story, and would cry for the whole movie until it was over. And for a few more hours after. Because the story was so beautiful and melancholic, mixing almost magic with reality. How similar.

"Always so sentimental" she thought to herself.

Now that she knew why she was there, she felt calmer, and until now, she'd already taken the first step: Introducing George Harrison to meditation with the right guru. Even if he hadn't reply to her letter, Sukanya said to Becca he would find the way, soon or later. The job was done, they had to be patience.

It might sound too feminist, but Rebecca always believed the answers of the universe, its secrets, and the wisest people were females, they'd to be, because there was a lot of magic around them, it hadn't any other explanation than they, the women, were the key of the cosmos.

Thanks to her guru, she was able to find the peace she needed in her life, understand the reason of many things, even beyond personal stuff. She taught Becca the importance of respecting every kind of life there was in the world and how lucky she was to be there at that exact time.

Still, there was a long long way to go, Rebecca wasn't completely religious but that had given her so much, she would always treasure it. And respect deeply all those knowledges.

Even so, nothing guaranteed that George would return to her side, all these things didn't mean they would end up together, only meant Rebecca was there to guide him and she'd by now done it. She was happy for it, very happy, accepting the course of the life.

The simplest things like meeting him or being able of hearing his conversation about music, instruments, life itself, would be worth not being with him.

She left behind her camera in Italy, but perhaps was better that way, mind is a mysterious place, but she could be careful and try to not forget all those memories with George Harrison, the Beatles, Beatle girls and so on. Now those would be on Becca's mind for the rest of the time and the girl was pretty sure she could not forget them.

Perhaps that song by Natalia Lafourcade now made more sense, no matter how much she might hide, how far she might gone or go, or where she was, how far away they were, George Harrison would be part of her for the eternity, inside till her roots.

A precious afternoon with bright orange sun hiding on the horizon was upon her, sitting cross-legged on the grass, as she admired the small building site in progress in front of her.

During those days in India, Becca helped with the planning and construction of the community near the ashram, her home at the moment. Destiny and fate were something funny, because one of the first people she met there was Mike.

An American old man, heir of a small-great fortune, who went to India to find himself and help as many people as he could. Mike himself, thanks to their talks, asked Rebecca for help to make a project, and after talking with the locals and the provincial government to get the permits, they got to work.
