"Why don't you move here?"

George said while playing the guitar sitting on a Barcelona chair at the Kinfauns living room. Somehow, he felt protected by playing it and with him was a sheet of paper and a pen to write down any idea that came to his mind.

Rebecca just arrived home from work, and she was complaining a bit about the nearly one hour ride she travelled by taxi, as she refused to use any vehicle George kindly provided for her. Since most of the times he couldn't pick her at work.

Not only he and Brian, but Ringo as well, tried to convince her it was the best thing for her, in case everything went wrong. John for his part said she was wild and seeing her getting caught by angry fans certainly would be interesting for Lennon.

So far Rebecca and George weren't a public couple, they hardly went out and when they did, go separately ways and with friends, mainly Paul and Jane, the couple monopolized all the spotlight; this way the new couple behaved distant to each other to not attract the attention of the press.

They weren't ready to go public. Rebecca was terrified people wanted to dig into her life and obviously find nothing about her. Besides, she was a normal girl, fame wasn't appealing for her, and she disliked it a bit. George seemed to agree with that, his relationship with Pattie had been terribly public than he had wanted to be, and preferred to keep everything private, agreeing with Becca.

The whole issue even made several newspapers continue to believe the Harrison and Boyd couple remained together. Pattie wasn't denying it, making the Mexican girl and her friend Joanne die laughing when they read those papers at work.

Obviously the most delighted by this being a secret was Brian, this way he had less to worry about. He preferred the women presence far away from the boys. Despite this, the manager supported them in their early relationship, he liked Rebecca, and George seemed so happy next to her that he couldn't resist.

They already decided Rebecca wouldn't attend the film premiere, after all she had a job and had her own business. She had a big project to do before going on vacation in early August. She could date a Beatle, but that wasn't going to change her.

During July they went between Rebecca's flat with Jane and Kinfauns. Those days they would be there in the bungalow, enjoying the little calm they could've before the release of the new album, the movie, and the American Tour. Waiting for their holiday. Yet George had to go frequently to studio or the office in one way or another.

Rebecca nearly choked on the gulp of water she was sipping upon hearing those words. She took a moment to catch her breath.

"Ora, what did you say?" she asked looking at him suspiciously. Definitely maybe she misheard.

"Why don't you move here with me?" George repeated now looking at her and not the guitar.

She made a grimace mixing surprise, fear, thoughtfulness. Must've been hilarious because it made George laugh hysterically. "But I wasn't expecting the mere idea was goin' to disgust ye. I know I stink, I'm ugly as fuck and a bad roommate. Must be me 'Pool part," he laughed again.
