I was busy signing the papers here in MBA when I heard my phone rang.

“Dad,”

I sighed. I do really knew why he called. It was about the Mines—He asked me about the complaints documents against Friàs mines.

We both already talked about this. Dad and I agreed to turn it down. Even the police told me na wala naman daw problema.

I heard the sound of papers on the other line.

It was true. The complaint of the residents, and the notice.

Selette. Selette na naman. Nag iisip ba siya? MBA should be her top priority, bakit kailangan pa niyang makialam sa minahan?

“I guess she doesn’t want me to get stressed about it,”

He is probably thinking positive about her so-called lovely daughters’ attitude.

“What do you think?”

I closed the folder on top of my desk and put it inside my drawer. I think, there’s a time for me to read that. Hindi pa naman masiyadong kailangan.

“Maybe,”

I am now getting my coat, and car keys.

“How about thinking that she did that for an agenda? She is interested so much to the point na ginagawa niya ‘yan? we better ask her.”

I opened another drawer and look for my ear pods. I can’t just end the call for now, my dad will be mad at me.

“Yeah, I should,”

The line became silent for minutes "Anyway, can you go over there? Talk to our workers, para hindi nila tayo ma misunderstood. Ilipat natin sila ng trabaho."

I walked outside my office and locked the door. He’s busy as me.

Unless she is having a meeting.

Knowing her, she have the heart to do whatever for the company her dad gave her.

Looking around the company, it makes me feel good. Maybe because of the atmosphere? The working places are all clean, the people are hardworking, and the employees are polite.

“Good morning, Attornet Friàs,”

Mr. Forster look at me.

I do. I do really hate Selette for many things, but not to the point that I will let another person questioned her abilities to lead.

Not a feminist, but this kind of question made me irritated. Ganito ba sila makitungo sa namumuno sa kanila? She is really something for letting this old man belittled her.

Wait? Why am I thinking about her?

”No,”
