After getting everyone ready (including Janaya and Julian), they all left and headed for Janaya's school. Andre had called the principal last night, and 'persuaded' him to reevaluate his decision about suspending Janaya. By 'persuaded' I meant that he used his capo powers and threatened the principal.
To say Janaya was upset, she was upset. She still knocked this off her bucket list, as getting suspended on the first day of school. She thought she was going to get a break from school, and annoying little kids. She thought about this, but once her mind thought about Kristen she wanted to go. She wanted to go to school with her new friend, and she wanted to settle her curiosity about him being in a bad/toxic home.
They finally made it to Janaya's school while listening to music, and laughing all the way there. Janaya ran into school super excited to start the school day, which was odd. 'Cause, no one likes going to school. When she reaches the classroom she sits where she sat yesterday, which was beside Kris.
She made her way over there, but suddenly stopped when she felt her friend's gloomy aura. Kristen was not having a good day, and he didn't really want to be bothered with a lot today. Especially with everything that happened yesterday.

*Flashback til he got dropped back off at his house*
When Janaya, my new friend, and her father dropped me off at my house I got worried. I knew we were late, and I didn't want to get hurt. Mentally or physically. I slowly walked up to our driveway, and onto our patio. Our house was pretty perfect, on the outside at least, it was a little too perfect. It was a white house, with a white fence too.
I finally walked in, I had my fingers crossed hoping they were still asleep. When I get in I see my dad, and he starts to yell at me. I've gotten used to the yelling, so it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. He starts to yell at me about coming home late. My mom just sits on the couch watching TV like nothing is happening.
He starts to kick me, hard. He continues to kick me hard, and call me names until he is satisfied. I ended up being curled on the floor. "GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW!" he ends up shouting at me. I rushed to stand up to go to my room. When I finally got there I lay on my bed and cried myself to sleep.
And I dream about a happier life...
*Before Janaya walked into the classroom*
I am sitting in class just staring off into the distance. Janaya Isn't here yet, and I don't see Chris anymore. I don't even think that he is coming back anymore, after the humiliation of everything that happened yesterday. Speaking of yesterday, it was the best day, despite getting beat at the end of the day. Janaya's family is really fun, and I didn't want to go home.
I hope Janaya isn't like the other people who have tried to be my friend. When I didn't hold up to their 'standards' they left me and started to ignore me. But I have a feeling that Janaya isn't like that. I hope I get to trust her enough to tell her things. I just don't want her to make fun of me, and the situation that I'm in.
Speaking of Janaya she just walked into class.

'My teacher didn't bother me today, thank The Lord.' I thought while getting her things out to get started on her day. I waved to Kristen since I didn't want to interrupt the lesson. You know I'm the good child that every parent wants, so why would I even thank of that😉😉.
We went through all the classes like we did the day before, but without the drama. We were finally at recess, and Kris and I were headed to the swings like we were yesterday. Yep, you read right. We're on nickname basis right now. We were swinging, and laughing at jokes that we would take turns making. I knew he was sad in our first class, and I can't have my best friend sad, that's in the rules.
Soon D'Shaun came up to us. I had to stop swinging, I didn't want to hit his beautiful face. Yet. What? I can't recognize a pretty face when I see one?
I stopped and walked in front of him with my arms crossed. Kristen had stopped swinging and walked up beside me, which kind of surprised me. Awww my little baby is growing up. *wipe tear* *wipe tear*
"What do you want?" I asked him.
" I just came to apologize to both of you guys. My ex-friend was really out of place for saying those things yesterday." He said emphasis on the 'ex' part. I just nodded and turned to walk away.
"WAIT, the offer still stands for you to come to play with us." He said looking at me, then he looked at Kristen. "both of you" he added.
I looked at Kristen in question, wondering if he wanted to go. He nodded his head, and we went to go hang out with D'Shaun and his friends.
