"Your not going home?" The dude asked me now looking at me with a questioning look. I look back at him. Who is he to question me? Not my father I'll tell you that much.
"Um.... Business? Find yours." I said still heading back to my box. He suddenly...

When the parents were called they didn't know who else was involved. So when they all pulled up to the school they looked at each other with curious glances because fortunately, all the parents knew each other. Well, except Imani only knew Andre.
"What are you guys doing here?" Andre asked everybody.
"The school called us," D'Shaun's mom, Lauren, said while walking beside D'Shaun's dad, Ahmad.
"Us too." Michael, Diamond, and Jewel's dad, walking alongside Elizabeth, the twin's mom.
"Same," X'avier, Alex's dad, replied with a smile.
"Guess it's a trend," Imani said with a small laugh.
"Who's mom are you?" Ahmad asked trying to be respectful, but still asks the question. She seemed to be so young to have a 2nd grader.
"I'm Kris's aunt," she responds with Andre nodding along with her.
"Ohh I have heard my kids talking about Kristen before," Elizabeth responds softly.
They all started walking into the school to meet the kids in the principal's office. When they get to the front office, the front office lady looks at them and then shakes her head in disappointment. She also points to the principal's office.
While walking in you could hear Janaya talking and before anybody went in they stood there to hear what she was saying.
"I don't understand why you pulled us out of class. We were just having some harmless fun." The young explained
"Yea, it was harmless." Alex nodded really fast.
"If you didn't want your students to have fun, then you should have been the principal of a boarding school," Janaya added with a shrug.
That's when the parents walked in wanting to get this upcoming conversation over and done with.
"What's this about?" asked X'avier, Alex's dad.
"That," is all the principal said while pointing to the kids that were standing at the other side of the room.
The parents gave him a questioning look. They take a glance at the kids and then do a double-take.
"Now why are y'all covered in paint?" Lauren asks in a motherly disappointed tone.
"See what had happened was." Jewel started with his head down.
"We were just being us kids, you know how silly we are." Diamond continued.
"Mhm," responded Lauren cutting her eyes at the children and turning back to the principal.
"Well would just have to be taken home today early." The principal said while nodding his head in the kid's direction.
"Ok let's go," said Janaya shrugging her shoulders. If her punishment was going home early, then she wouldn't mind getting in trouble for the rest of her elementary school career.
"Hope the rest of your day is nice and relaxing," said Elizabeth while leaving the office.
While walking out Janaya started to tug on Andre's sleeve.
"Can I go with D'Shaun?"
Hearing his name D'Shaun turned around to Janaya, understood what was happening, and started to ask his parents a question similar to hers. "Can Janaya come over?"

Walking into D'Shaun's home she is immediately disheartened, disgusted, repulsed, and the list could go on. The sight in front of her was something she couldn't even imagine to be in her nightmares, it was that bad. She wanted to gouge her own eyes out. She wanted to go die in a ditch. She would even rather be right next to her nasty, stinking, musty teacher than see what she had just seen. She had to rub her eyes multiple times to make sure what she was seeing was right. She was also pinching herself to make sure this wasn't one of her nightmares that would leave her traumatized. She doesn't know what's going to happen because of this, but all she knows is that she will never be the same. She could have never seen this betrayal coming.
