When Janaya and Kristen got in the car with Andre they were both bouncing with excitement. They first went to get something to eat. They both split a chicken sandwich and fries from Chick-fil-A, and they each got their own cookies & cream milkshake. On the way home, they were talking and singing to the music that Andre was playing. He was happy that both kids were happy.
They had finally made it home, and both kids rushed upstairs to Janaya's room. Janaya wasn't classified as a girly girl or a tomboy. She was more in between than anything. Meaning she had dolls and remote control cars. She liked to do the doll's hair and she liked to race the cars. They were both playing with the remote control cars, racing them down the hall. When the car had run into somebody that they didn't notice coming up the stairs.
"Owww," the person screamed. Since the kids didn't notice him they both jumped.
"Oh, hey Kamari," Janaya waves with a smirk on her face. Kristen was confused as to who Kamari was. He thought he knew all of her 'brothers.'
"Hey Janaya," He says back with a wave, and he continued to Jamar's room.
"Who was that?" Kristen asked.
"That is Jamar's best friend and D'Shaun's brother." They continued to play with the cars until they both got bored.
When they got bored of racing cars, they went to Janya's room. Janaya had suddenly got the idea to hit Kristen, so that's what she did.
"HEY!!" Kristen yelled when Janaya hit him with a pillow. He grabbed the pillow that was sitting beside him and hit Janya with it for payback.
They continued to go back and forth. Until all, they could see was feathers, and all they could hear were their heavy breaths and loud war cries.
After 10 minutes of hitting each other with pillows, they grabbed all the feathers that they could see and made two piles of them. They jumped in it which made the feathers go every which way. It was just like people would do in the fall, they would make piles of fallen, colorful leaves and jump in them.
After that fun, they both took an hour's nap, I mean who wouldn't be tired after doing all of that. When they woke up they went into Janaya's secret stash of candy that she stole from Jahmal. She had been doing this for a while. Whenever Jahmal wasn't in his room she would sneak in to find his not-so-secret stash of candy. She would take that, and then make her own secret stash of candy.
"What do you want now?" Questioned Janaya.
"Let's play all the card and board games that you have" Kristen responded.
That's what they did. They played different games like Monopoly, Phase 10, and Uno. When Andre had called everyone for dinner both kids were on the last phase of Phase 10, and Kristen was for sure that he was going to win. Unfortunately, for him, Janaya had skipped him, and with the next card, she pulled being a wild card. She had won the game. They both rushed to the dining room, but as soon as they opened the doors Andre yelled out.
"Don't forget to wash your hands!"
So they turned around and headed to the bathroom. By the time they left out the water was everywhere. It looked like a Hurricane had happened. They didn't care though, the only thing they cared about was their grumbling stomachs.
They sat down beside each other, waiting for everyone else to come. Once everyone came in including Kamari, they said grace and ate until they couldn't eat anymore.
*time skip to the next day*
Janaya and D'Shaun woke up around the same time. He was a little creeped out about how she would just stare into space. But after her staring contest with the wall, he felt better. Janaya was ok, but not great. She couldn't help but feel that something was going to go wrong today. That thing might not be because of her or she might not be a victim, but she felt like someone around here might be a victim.
