After playing some of the arcade games they went and did laser tag. They were just coming out of the room with all of the vests, and Janaya just so happens to be the one leaving out of the room first. She walked to where they were sitting before when they were waiting to be called into the room to play.
A sketchy dude was close by, and when he saw Janaya come out of the room he realized it was the perfect time to complete his mission. He went up to her, and when Janaya felt someone staring at her she turned around to face this tall man, with brown almost black eyes, who was breathing heavily and had bad breath. She immediately backed up with her face scrunched up.
"Why is he standing so close with his breath the way it is, I bet he is related to my teacher. The hygiene problems must be genetic." she thought.
"Um, excuse you." She said now holding her nose.
"You want candy I've got a bunch in my car," the stranger said.
How stupid can he be? If he wants to kidnap me just say that. His attempts are disappointing me. Now if he came in guns blazing shooting everyone to come and get me I probably would have gone with him no complaints. What I look like getting in a stranger's car when they don't put in any effort.
"Why would I get candy from you? A stranger." She said then looked him up and down. "I don't even get candy from strangers on Halloween I go buy my own from the dolla stoe" She added sarcastically.
"First for everything, right?" the no-good-smelling stranger replied. Smiling showing his yellow teeth.
Janaya cringed when she saw his smile, but then she smiled too, "I hope your candy-selling business flourish, but I gotta go." Her smile dropped then she ran to where her family was.
"Why are you running?" asked Andre as she approached.
"No reason, just someone wanting to kidnap me by asking me if I want candy." She responds shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly.
"Where is he now?" asks Jervonte as he and the boys jump up ready to finish what someone started.
Janaya starts looking around because he is not in the spot she left him in. "He's over there," Janaya points in the direction of one of the windows that showed the outside. They could see a white van out there.
"He really brings shame to all kidnappers. Cause we all know if a stranger has that type of car and/or offers you candy he is a kidnapper." She says shaking her head as she continues to look outside at the van. The man who was previously talking to Janaya was now on the phone with someone who everyone thought was his boss.
"Jamar stay with Janaya, we are going outside for a second," Andre commanded while all the boys except for Jamar got up out of their seats and headed to the door to leave.
"but-" Jamar starts just to see that they are already gone.
"I so wanted to go with them." He finishes his previously started sentence.
"Same," Janaya replies, "I wanna see what they are gonna do to him up close."
"You wanna play some more games?"
"I guess"
Both of them left to play some more arcade games. By the time Andre, Jervonte, Jahmal, and Julian come back inside, they have already played all the games they wanted. They headed to cash in their tickets to see what they could get with how many tickets they had. They ended up saving them for next time to be able to get something bigger.
