It's been about a month since Janaya was last disappointed by the future love of her life. She has met the extended family of the Williams family (aka the family she has been staying with). And with the holidays coming up she has been missing her father more and more, but Kristen coming back to school has made her not as sad.
Speaking of Kristen he has moved in with his aunt. He is starting to get used to being a kid. He likes this new dynamic and likes his family even more. He is getting used to having a lot of people there for him and loving him the way a family should.
"HONEY I'M HOME" screamed Janaya walking into her house with Kristen following her. They had just got back from Imani's home.
Janaya, dragging Kris behind her, runs and jumps on the couch.
"Ya miss me?" she asks with a big smile.
"No" responded Jamar while playfully rolling his eyes. He has gotten used to her around much to his disappointment.
"Of course we missed you munchkin," said Jervonte getting up from his seat on the couch to come and tickle her. Her laughing had the whole house smiling at her joy.
"I am not no munchkin," she said getting over her giggles with a roll of her neck. "Do I look like a bald white man to you?" she rolls her eyes going to go get a seat on the couch trying to watch what they were watching.
"No more like an oompa loompa," Jamar stated as he started laughing so hard he almost fell out of his seat.
"I'm gonna pretend like I didn't hear that, for your sake," Janaya said as she rolled her eyes.
"Whatcha do at lil man house?" asked Andre ignoring his still laughing son.
"We just played games and ate really," Kristen replied shrugging his shoulders from his seat beside Janaya.
It's now later that night. They have had their family dinner, and talks. With the help of her puppy dog eyes Andre let Kristen spend the night with Janaya.
So currently Janaya and Kristen were sitting on her bed just having a late-night talk about random things. Suddenly they hear a lot of doors opening and widows breaking all at once. They didn't know what to so they stayed in Janaya's room until they heard something else.
