A few hours ago we saved everyone, including Azgeda, and now we're stuck in a dungeon as a thank you. The good news is that most of our people are on their way back to Arkadia, the bad news is that there's a possibility Roan'll kill Clarke for the power of Wanheda. And that's a serious problem. I don't get what Bellamy sees in Echo, she only causes trouble and they don't even trust each other which is understandable because she's the main reason we're in here. I don't know why I'm getting myself all worked up in this when the world's still going to end in Praimfaya.
I'm so deep in thought that I don't see Clarke's eyes tearing up as she stares at the flame. "I know that look." Abby shuffles closer to her as she tucks a lock of hair behind her ear. "I loved her, mom", Clarke whispers with tears in her eyes. I turn my head and give them some privacy. "I know." Abby calms her with a hand on her cheek. I glance at Octavia and see her staring at me with an expression I can't explain. Suddenly the door opens and two Azgeda warriors come in. "Wanheda, on your feet."
Echo pulls out a black headscarf to put on Clarke's head. "Wait, I need to speak to Roan", she protests but it's no use. She gets blinded by the scarf and start to drag her out. "No, wait! Echo!" I yank at the chains that are attached to the wall while Bellamy and Abby try to appeal to Echo. One guard notices me tugging and punches me hard in the ribs with his spear. I grunt in pain as Clarke disappears behind the corner.

After we get freed, we meet with Clarke in the hallway. "Why did they just...let us go?", Octavia asks. "Please tell me you didn't give him the flame", Bellamy says. Clarke doesn't respond and the silence speaks volumes. "Now we've lost our only advantage", Bellamy rolls his eyes, anger radiating. "I'm sorry", I whisper softly to Clarke. I know the flame was important to her. "Can I speak to you, privately?" She turns to me and pulls me into a random room.
"I just wanted to ask, do you... Are you planning to stay here? Or do you want to come with Bellamy and me to Arkadia?", she says after closing the door. She has an unreadable expression in her eyes. Hope, maybe. "I don't know. I'm not that much of a help, i think. And I'm worried about Octavia. After we kissed she said it was to 'feel something'." "You two kissed? When?" Clarke sounds strangely happy and curious. "When you were in the city of light. Look, Clarke..." "No it's okay. If you care about her then you should go for it", she interrupts me. "I do care about her and she's pretty and smart and all that, but I don't think I'm the right person for her. And I think she isn't the right one for me", I explain to her. We stare at each other for a minute before we get interrupted by a still angry Bellamy. "Come on, Roan is going to give a speech."
