"May I ask why?" the teacher inquires "You may not." she says "I wasnt asking" the teacher presses "It sounded like a question to me. nor do you have the authority to question my home life" the girl adds.
The teacher sighs "You must catch up on your work and continue tutoring students" the teacher gives in.
"I planned on- ow! yes I will" the girl says being interrupted again and just going with the answer Xiao wants.
"And you. Why were you absent?" the tone the teacher has with Xiao makes you seethe he was always seen as a delinquent and you hated it "sick" is all Xiao says "mhm sure, youre dismissed" you scowl at the teacher.
"Who the fuck do they think they are talkin' to you like that!? why did I get special treatment I know for a fact that if you said some of the things I say youd get detention!" she says annoyed.
Xiao whose voice is still kinda raspy just says "You're right but there's nothing you can do but just... not care" he says still looking at you.

and then you get glared at "whoops, hoes mad" she says dragging out the 's' and then as the final straw you plop you hand onto his head and ruffle his hair he looks as if hes gonna get up.
"ooo, gotta go, gotta go, gotta go." she says as she gets up and bolts and in return he just snickers to himself twisting and turning in the halls having no real destination.
Sighing and checking the time you dont get to see until you bump into a person with a lot of books "Ah shit" the girl mutters picking up all the books she dropped "y/n?" you hear a familiar voice say
"Oh hey Kazuha " you smile and then picking up more books "Sorry 'bout that didnt see ya there" she laughs passing him his load of books.
"Ah, its quite alright. I havent seen you in the music room last week" he says quite hurt "im hurt did you forget about me" he says getting dramatic.
Rolling you eyes "nah, I was just absent... for the whole week" you laugh "I would've told or visited you but you never gave me your number" you sigh
"Is this your way of asking for my number?" he raises a brow "That depends if its working" you laugh he snickers with as if its amusing to him.
"Well it is give me your phone" he laughs you unlock your phone and give it to him.
"Anyways" she says getting her phone back "For my recital I got-" and then the bell rings "damn I'm far away from class" she sighs "gotta go see ya later" she smiles
"ughhhh" the girl groans "whats wrong now" Xiao sighs getting up to eat lunch on the roof "I wanna go home" she says head still on the desk "shocking. C'mon lets go"
"Where are you going?" Aether asks as you guys are walking out "We're gonna go take over the world with my evil robot army!!" you yell dragging Xiao off
its seven pm and then you remember that you haven't texted Kazuha after getting his number "my fuckin' god im such a dumbass"
she says going over to kazuhas number

You continue to talk to Kazuha until you tell him that your heading off to bed smiling at the goodnight message he sends you and then quickly doing any last minute preparations.
And then you look at your window looking at it for a few mor seconds and then unlocking it cause why would you have it locked what if Xiao comes in?
around 3am you wake up to Xiao shaking you "... huh Xiao whats up" you say rubbing your eyes "i uh had another one and I um nevermind" he says trying to leave
"Ok turn your ass back around you woke me up at..." checking your phone the bright light blinds you and then you see 3:27am on your screen "at 3:30am and just say nevermind explain yourself" she says completely sitting up
"I had another one" he sighs looking down "oh im sorry Xiao, but what are you doing just standing there get over here ya weirdo" you laugh scooting over so that your closest to the wall.
Xiao slowly crawls onto your bed and faces the opposite direction back towards you sighing again you get closer to him and wrap your arms around him pulling him closer to your body.
"goodnight Xiao" you whisper "just remember your right here right now ok? nothing will hurt you as long as I'm by your side" he practically hears your smile.
You give a reassuring squeeze and then attempt to let go until you hear a "... hold me a little while longer... please" being taken aback by his vulnerability you say "of course" and fall asleep.
