Friday was fine but Mack hadn't spoken to anyone. Not Morgan. Not Harley. He hadn't even seen Mr. Miller. He did notice over the week that whenever Dominic doesn't want to be at work. He just leaves. He leaves and doesn't come back or he just doesn't show up at all. Maybe he completely trusts his employees, or at least that's what Mack thought.

Today was Saturday which meant he didn't have to go to work but he would be at the gym.

It was back day so he was pretty excited.

He preferred walking to the gym rather than driving. It was like a warm up, plus the gym wasn't too far away from his apartment.
He left the lobby and went on his way with his headphones on.
He wore a dark grey compression shirt, sweatpants, and sneakers.

As he walked closer, someone grabbed onto his ankle and he jumped.

He quickly looked at the hand's owner and could finally breathe. He put his headphones around his neck.

"Um...Hey?" Mack greeted.
"Hey, man. What's going on?" Michael smiled.
"Uh...Nothing...what're you doing on the ground?"
"This is my hangout when Dom's busy."
"Dom?"
"Dominic."
Mack was still confused.
"Your boss, you idiot!" Michael stated.
"Oh...sorry. I never learned his first name. I was only told he was Mr. Miller."
"Yea, well his first name is Dominic."

Dominic... Mack thought to himself. He liked it.

"Shouldn't you be at home and not on the streets like a homeless person?" Mack asked.
"Nah. I hate it there. Just waiting for Dom to pull up. Where're you headed?"
"To the gym."
"Should've figured that. You're a pretty big guy and you're wearing sweatpants. But cool, man. I'll just hang with you until then." Michael stated and stood up.
"Oh...uh..."
"Come on."

Mack was reluctant but they began walking.

"Shouldn't you be more careful when it comes to hanging around people you don't know?" Mack asked.
"What do you mean? I know you. You're Mackenzy."
"Wha-...How do you know my name?"
"Dom talks about you."
"He does?"
"Yea. A few times."
"Well...what does he say?" Mack wondered.
"You know. 'Wow, Mackenzy's so hot and tall.' Stuff like that." Michael stated.

Mack stopped walking and just stared.

"What?" Michael asked.
"Are you lying?" Mack questioned.
"Well I mean...he doesn't say that stuff exactly but he definitely checks you out."
"Oh..."
They kept walking.

"Are you two about to start dating? Because if so, I gotta do a whole questionnaire kind of thing to make sure you're not tryna fuck over my brother and stuff. You know?"
"We're not dating." Mack replied as he entered the gym.
Michael sucked his teeth and followed behind.
"What?" Mack asked.
"I'm tired of him leaving to go fuck some guy while I stay in the penthouse by myself. And he thinks I don't know but I know. I'm a teenager, I'm not stupid. Can't he just settle down or something?" Michael groaned. "I get bored and lonely."

I don't think I was supposed to learn that information, Mack thought.

"But you like him, right?" Michael asked and sat on one of the benches while Mack got ready and stretched.
"Um...I don't really know him."
Michael sucked his teeth again. "You like how he looks though...right?!"
"I mean...um...well...I-...um...well, I mean..."
Michael just stared as he waited for an answer.
"Y-Yea...yea...I guess...maybe...h-he looks...nice." Mack answered from the pressure.
"Okay then ask him out."
"What? I can't do that."
"Why can't ya?" Michael asked as he watched Mack jump up and grab onto the bar.
"Because he's my boss." Mack responded and began his pull ups.
"So?"
"So that's inappropriate."
"So, what if he asked you out? You'd say no because it's inappropriate?"

Mack stopped in the middle of his lift and stayed in the air as he thought.

"Well...no...but...as an employee, I feel like it's inappropriate to ask out my boss."
Michael rolled his eyes. "Quit being a pussy."
Mack was offended.

"You know what? Fine. I'll just get him to ask you out."

"Don't do that." Mack instructed and got down.

"Why not?"
"Because you shouldn't force relationships. You might make him feel really uncomfortable especially if he doesn't even like me."

"Would you say yes?"
"What?" Mack asked.
"If Dom asked you out. Would you say yes?"
"Well..."
"So that's a yes?"
Mack didn't answer.
Michael just stared at him.

"I don't know, man! Leave me alone." Mack instructed softly and went to his next piece of equipment to warm up on.
Michael followed and laughed.

Dominic pulled up to their usual meeting spot.

He pulled down the visor to check his nose in the mirror.

It had been a little over ten minutes and he hadn't had an annoying teenager come to his car window and tell him about his day, yet. He got out of the car and looked around.

He tried looking into all of the store building windows to see if maybe he went in there. Michael's a very curious kid, he's always in places he shouldn't be. Dominic looked at the hot dog stand and still didn't see him.

"Michael!" he yelled.
Nothing.

He got back in his car and decided to drive around the block looking for him.
"I swear to god if he got himself into some bullshit, I'll kill him." Dominic said to himself.

He pulled out of the spot and began slowly driving around looking for an excited sixteen year old brunet.

He looked through every window and down the sidewalk.

Soon something caught his eye.
He looked through a gym window and there he was.

"What the fuck-..."

Dominic hurried up and parked then quickly walked inside.

"It smells like testosterone in here." Dominic stated in disgust.

He walked around looking for where he might've seen Michael.

There he is.

And he's with...some big guy with his back turned?

He walked over to them.

"The fuck are you doin'?" Dominic asked Michael.
"Oh, hey, man." Michael smiled.
"Don't 'hey, man' me, asshole. Why the fuck are you in here?"
Michael pointed.
Dominic turned his head and realized the big guy was Mackenzy.

"I'm sorry...we kind of bumped into each other and he followed me here." Mack explained and combed his damp hair back with his fingers.

Dominic just stared at him in confusion.

Every time he sees Mack out of his work clothes, a part of him is blown away by his body. If Dominic wasn't always high when he saw Mack, he'd probably be feral and clawing at his body. But alas, he keeps his composure.

"Right." Dominic accepted then turned his head back to Michael.

"You got one job. You stay there and you wait for me. Don't just go walking around with strangers like some lunatic." Dominic instructed.
"I wasn't with a stranger. I was with Mack."
"Don't be a dumbass. Let's go."
Michael rolled his eyes.

"Hey, man. I'm gonna do what I told you," Michael told Mack as he and Dominic walked away.
"Please don't," Mack murmured.
