After their rounds in the shower, the two got out and went to bed, but not to go to sleep.

Dominic was bent over the bed with legs ready to give out as Mack kept thrusting inside of him.

Mack pressed Dominic's head into the bed before shoving himself all the way in and finishing inside for the fourth time.
Dominic was finally worn out and just rested on the bed after finishing as well.
Mack helped him all the way onto the bed then laid next to him.

Holy shit... Dominic thought.

Dominic wasn't used to anyone out-horny-ing him. No one really went more rounds than he could handle until he met Mack.

"Don't you get tired?" Dominic asked and was mildly concerned with Mack's rounds and stamina.
"No."
Dominic stared at him.
"I wanna go again." Mack said and looked back at Dominic.
"Absolutely not, my stomach feels like it's about to burst."
Mack snickered. "I'm sorry. I got carried away."
"I need to shower again." Dominic stated.
"I'll wash the sheets later. Just lay next to me." Mack insisted.
Dominic looked at him.

"What's wrong with you?" he asked.
"What do you mean?" Mack wondered.
"You're clearly very interested in me."
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
Dominic scoffed and sat up, still looking at Mack laying next to him. "I'm a fucking drug addict who's been staying in your place without pay and kept threatening you to give me pills. I've used you just to cum and treated you like shit because I didn't want a relationship. And you're fucking staring into my eyes without a pinch of hate or disgust in them."
"I think your eyes are pretty." Mack responded.
Dominic rolled them then put on his underwear to leave the room.
"Where are you going?" Mack asked.

He hurriedly put on a pair of sweatpants and followed after Dominic.

"You just...You're-...I don't know. There's something wrong with you." Dominic scoffed in disbelief.
"What?"
"Don't worry about it."
"No..." Mack grabbed onto his hand and pulled him close. "Talk to me."

Dominic looked at him.

"Why do you want me?"
"Why do you believe I shouldn't?" Mack questioned.
"BECAUSE I SUCK, MACKENZY!" Dominic shoved him and backed away. "I'M SHIT! I'M UNENTERTAINING! I ATE AWAY AT HALF OF MY BRAIN FROM SNORTING ANYTHING THAT COULD BE CRUSHED AND SORTED INTO A LINE! YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT ME ALONE! ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?! I SHOULDN'T EVEN BE HERE! I BANGED ON YOUR DOOR FOR THREE MINUTES STRAIGHT THEN SNORTED YOUR TADVIL AND RAW DOGGED YOUR WHISKEY AND YOU KEEP LOOKING AT ME LIKE YOU WANT TO KISS ME!"

Mack just stared as Dominic vented.

"I am so fucked up and you're...letting me sleep in your house until I get better." Dominic stared at the floor. "You make me breakfast in the morning and make sure I drink water. You ask to hold my hand. You tell me I'm going to be okay, and...and you actually mean it." He took a deep breath. "There's something wrong with you. You're sabotaging yourself. Why?"
Mack shook his head. "No, I'm not. I'm taking care of someone who needs to be taken care of."
Dominic scoffed and rolled his eyes.

Mack stepped closer to him and gently held Dominic's face in his hands.

"You were in pain and you didn't know what to do or where to go, and you came to me. There'd be something wrong with me if I kicked you out and made you fend for yourself knowing that you were struggling." Mack explained.
Dominic looked away from him.
"I don't know who made you think that no one should stay with you, but I hate that they did. Actually, I do know who. But I'm not him. I don't plan on leaving you unless you push me away. I like you. And I think...you like me too, you're just not ready to tell me, yet, and that's okay. I can wait until you're comfortable. But it doesn't make me want to be there for you any less. I don't know where you'd be if I didn't decide to help you and I don't really wanna think about it. If you want to though, you can go back home. I think your withdrawal symptoms are mostly gone. If you don't want to be here, I won't force you to be."

Dominic wanted to be there. He just didn't want Mack to make it more than what it was. He was just at the point where he believed he wasn't good enough for Mackenzy. He would think about leaving him alone himself. Simply because he knew Mack deserved better. Saner. And healthier.

Dominic softly pulled Mack's hands off of his face.
"I'm gonna go home." Dominic nodded.
"Okay." Mack nodded as well but it kind of hurt. "That's okay. I'll drive you."
Dominic walked past Mack to go back into the bedroom and get dressed.

He'd hate to admit that he'd miss staying with Mack, but he thought it was best if he left.

He wore a t-shirt of Mack's and a pair of sweatpants before preparing to leave.
He didn't say anything, he just walked past Mack and left the apartment.
Mack wondered what happened. He went into his room to throw on a shirt then grabbed his keys and walked out as well.

...

During the entire truck ride, there wasn't a sentence spoken.

Mack had even tried reaching for Dominic's hand to hold it but Dominic subtly pulled his hand away and set it in his lap, out of Mack's reach. Mack was hurt, but just held the gear shift instead.
