Another knock on the door.

"Dominic, I'm tired and I reeeeaallyyyy don't feel like playing games right now. Open the door, sweetheart." said the deep, terrifying, voice.

Dominic's hand was shaking as he reached for the door handle.
He pulled the door open again with his eyes on the floor.

"There you go." Andrei smiled as he stepped inside.
Dominic closed the door behind him.
"So you moved, huh?"
Dominic didn't respond.
"You know how hard it was to find you?" Andrei asked.
I didn't want to be found, Dominic answered in his head.
Andrei turned and looked at him.

"Aww, why the long face, baby boy?" he asked and approached Dominic.
His large strong hand reached for the side of Dom's face and Dominic flinched before it gently held him.
Andrei began softly kissing Dominic's face to his jaw and neck.
"Did you miss me?" he asked before bringing his face back to Dominic's. "I missed you."
Their lips were held close together before the two closed the space and kissed one another passionately.
Almost bringing Dominic to tears.

...

Mack woke up the next morning and reluctantly got ready for work.

He didn't really want to see Dominic today but it wasn't enough to call in sick. Especially because he'd be calling in sick to Dominic. Who knows for a fact that he isn't sick. The whole thing just wouldn't play out well.

He threw on a dress shirt and pants then headed out, not even bothering to fix breakfast.

When he got to his truck, he just stared out of the windshield like he was trying to gather the strength.

He sighed and put the gear shift in reverse to leave the parking lot and head to work.

Mack made it and hadn't run into Dominic on his way to his desk, luckily. He just sat down at his computer and went to work.

The elevator dinged and his chest jumped.
He looked towards it but was confused.

It was Dominic leaving the elevator but he looked strange. He looked exhausted. Even more tired than usual.

He walked to his office with a yawn and a scratch to his head before disappearing behind the door.

Mack looked back at his computer screen.

...

Dominic sat with his face in his hands as he listened to his employee speak about their progress. If his father didn't ask for an email of this every Monday, he wouldn't do it.
He was so tired it almost hurt.
Thanks to Andrei's return, Dominic was so in shock that he wasn't even able to fall asleep as that man laid next to him. He wasn't even sure whether or not he was seeing things. He was not at all in the mood to be completing his current task. But alas, someone still sat in his office chair rambling about whatever or whoever. Nonetheless, they were all things Dominic didn't care about.

"But I did fix a few bugs in the website..." they continued.
"Is that all?" Dominic asked.
"Um...Yes?"
"Great. Leave."
"Oh..."

They got up.

"Wait..." Dominic called.
"Yes?"
"Call Watts in here. He's after you."
"Yes, sir."
They left.

When the door shut, Dominic groaned loudly in exhaustion. He just wanted to go home.

He took this free time to bang his head onto the desk a few times.

Mack entered in shortly. Dominic quickly picked up his head and pretended to be looking at his desktop computer.
It was off.
He just rolled his eyes and laid his head back on the desk.

Mack shut the door behind himself then walked to his seat and sat.
He looked around quietly as if he'd never stepped foot in Dominic's office before while Dominic just sat there with his head in his arms on his desk.

"A-Are you okay?" Mack finally asked.
"I'm tired, Watts."
"Oh..."
Dominic picked his head up. "Are you okay?"
"W-Why?"
"I don't know. Kicked me out yesterday I assumed something happened."
Mack looked at the desk to avoid eye contact.

"If you're so...t-tired of my st-stuttering, I figured it would be b-best to just l-let you be d-......done with me. I don't feel like...h-......hanging around anyo-one that thinks my speech is a ch-chore."
"What?" Dominic asked.
Mack sighed. "Don't w-worry about it."
"What the fuck, Watts?" Dominic groaned.

He stood up and walked around his desk to lean against it.

"I didn't ask you that shit last night because I'm tired of your stuttering. I asked you it because I noticed you didn't stutter around the other guests that were there and I just wondered if it was a comfort thing and when you'd be more comfortable around me. Because I don't want you uncomfortable around me. Not so you'd stop stuttering. It was just because I was curious if that was how it worked. My next question would've been how could I make you more comfortable if it would help. We were clearly going to be spending a lot of time together so I asked. I don't give a fuck if you never stop stuttering in front of me again."

With that explanation Mack felt like an asshole.
"If it isn't based on comfort then that's fine too. I just didn't wanna find out you stuttered because I make you uncomfortable. Do you understand?"
"I-I'm sorry..."
"It's fine, I don't really care. But you could at least ask me why I asked. I feel like you think I'm more of a dick than I actually am."
That might be true.
Mack nodded.

"Can I ask you a qu-question n-now?" Mack wondered.
"Go ahead."
"Why are you so t-tired? You didn't leave my place th-that l-late..."

Dominic would rather stab himself in the leg than give Mack the answer to that question.

"I just couldn't sleep last night for some reason. I'll be fine later." he answered.
Mack nodded. "Okay..."
"Now tell me what you've gotten done last week."
