"What size are you?" Dominic asked Michael as they walked through the store.
"I don't know."
Dominic sighed and yanked Michael to him by the back of his collar. He flipped it back and looked at the letter.
"Medium." he stated and let Michael go.
"What about pants?"
"We're just gonna assume you're a medium everywhere. Go crazy." he permitted.
Michael walked off to look at everything while Dominic just leaned against one of the racks.

"MACKENZY, JUST GET THE SHIRT!" someone shouted.
"THERE'S A STAIN ON IT!"
"WASH IT BEFORE YOU WEAR IT!"

"What the fuck-..." Dominic turned his head to find where the loud noise was coming from.

As he looked around, he noticed a familiar largely built man arguing with a rather tall woman in front of another older woman who just watched. He saw the older woman begin to interrupt them with a tap to their shoulders, she then started signing.

Dominic snickered at what she said.

Michael came back.

"Hey, is this cool-...what're you looking at?" Michael turned his head in the direction Dominic's faced.
"Hey, that's Mack! MACK!" Michael shouted to get his attention.
"Shut up, dumbass!" Dominic said and smacked Michael in the back of his head.

But Mack had already heard and faced the direction. As did Morgan and their mother.

"Fuck..." Dominic sighed and turned around.

"HEY, MACK!" Michael shouted when he noticed he'd gotten his attention.

"Who is that?" Morgan asked.
"Um...It's my boss and his kid..."
"THAT'S YOUR BO-..."
Mack hurriedly covered Morgan's mouth with his hand. "Yes, that's my boss. Be quiet." he commanded.
He felt his mother tap his shoulder.
She signed the words, "He's beautiful."
"Yea...I know..." Mack sighed to himself quietly.
He looked back over and saw Dominic scolding Michael for the outburst.

His mother tapped his shoulder again.
He looked.
"Go speak." she told him.
Mack shook his head.
She nodded.
Mack looked back at Dominic.
He was shoved.

Soon his hand was grabbed and he was being led over.

"Morgan, no." he whispered aggressively. She continued.

They made it over and caught Dominic's attention.

"Uh...H-Hi..." Mack stated.
"Hello."
"Mack, my man!" Michael smiled and hugged Mack.
Mack was confused but still hugged him back.

"Hi, I'm Morgan." she introduced and held out her hand.
"Uh...Dominic." he greeted and shook hers.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Mackenzy's sister." she stated.
Mack nudged her.
"Mack's sister." she corrected.
"Yea, it's nice to meet you, too." Dominic responded. He looked behind them and saw their mother watching. "Uh...You left your friend behind..."
Morgan looked behind them and gestured for their mother to join.
"No..." Mack groaned in embarrassment.
His mother walked over.

"Why..." he sighed to himself.

Their mother made it over and held out her hand with a smile.

"Oh...uh..." Dominic realized. He considered speaking but signed instead. "Hi, I'm Dominic." he told her.

The three just stared at him in surprise.

Mack's mother signed back. "I'm Maria, Mack's mother. You're fluent in sign language?"
"I'm pretty decent. My little brother was deaf." he responded with his hands.
"Wow. I'm mute but I can hear just fine." she explained.
"Is it okay if I still speak to you this way? I feel like I'm practicing."
"That's perfect." she signed back and smiled at him.

Morgan and Mack looked at one another.
"He's so hot..." she mouthed.
"Stop!" Mack mouthed back.

They looked back at Dominic and Maria.

"You are very beautiful by the way." Mack's mother signed.
Dominic chuckled shyly. "Thank you." he replied.

"O-Okay...that's enough...we should g-get going..." Mack stated.

"Wait, I gotta buy stuff and you should help me." Michael said. Another scheme to bring Dominic and Mack closer.
"No, I'm sure he's busy. Just go pick stuff out." Dominic said out loud.
"He's not busy." Morgan stated.
Everyone looked at her.
"Right?" she asked her mother.
Maria nodded and looked at Dominic.
"Well, I-...I just...I-..." Mack fumbled.
"Come on!" Michael said and took his wrist to pull him away.

Mack just followed in confusion.

Dominic watched then turned back to face the women.

"We have somewhere to be so..." Morgan stated.
"I thought you said you weren't busy?" Dominic replied.
"No, we're busy. Mack isn't. He's very good with kids by the way."
Dominic knew that was a lie. He was sure Mack was terrified of Michael.
"Uh...Right..." Dominic accepted.
"Okay, well, we'll see you later." Morgan stated and pulled her mother off before Dominic could say anything else.

He stood there confused and cursing Michael for having brought on that awkward experience. He didn't feel like talking to anyone and now he'd just unwillingly met his fuck buddy's family.

He turned around as he scratched his head in distress.

He saw Michael holding up two sweatshirts and Mack was looking at them.

Mack pointed to one.
Michael excitedly jumped. "Dude, that's what I was gonna pick!" he shouted and put back the other sweatshirt.

Dominic walked over to them.

"Uh...Your family just left so..." he told Mack.
"Oh...I-I'll go and catch up with them..." Mack decided.
"Yea." Dominic agreed.
"No!" Michael interrupted.

Both men turned and looked at him.

"You gotta help me." he stated.
"Mr. Miller can help you."
"You don't have to call me that outside of the office. Dominic is fine."
Mack didn't respond but calling him Dominic felt funny.
"I told him that shit, he doesn't listen." Michael said and walked off to find more clothes.
"Watch your fucking mouth!" Dominic commanded.
"Sorry!" Michael said and kept walking.

Dominic looked at Mack.
Mack shrugged. "It...just feels wrong..."
"For every time you call me Mr. Miller outside of the office, I'm gonna deduct your pay."
"Y-You can do that...?"
"I can do whatever I want. What's my name?"
"..."
"What's my name, Mackenzy?"
"D-Dominic..."
"I can't hear you."
"It's D-..." Mack scratched his head. Every time he stutters in front of Dominic he's embarrassed.
Dominic, however, has gotten used to it. A small part of him thinks it's cute that such a big guy can get so shy and nervous. He wouldn't tell him that, obviously. He'd keep those thoughts to himself.
"What?"
"...Dominic..."
"That's not hard."

Mack had never called a superior by their first name and Dominic was his boss before he was anything else so to him it was strange.

"Don't be a weirdo." Dominic insulted.
