"I assume I need to drop you off at your place?" Dominic offered as the three hopped in the car.
"Y-Yea...that's fine." Mack shrugged.

Every time he stuttered he wanted to kick his own ass. He felt like he was embarrassing himself in front of the guy he liked and he was sick of it but every time Dominic spoke to him, he would get nervous again.

It didn't take that long for them to arrive at Mack's home.

"Th-Thank you..." Mack said through the window after getting out of the car.
"Wait!" Michael yelled from the backseat.
The two looked at him.
"Can I use your bathroom?"
"Oh...uh, Yea..." Mack agreed.

Michael got out as well.

"Don't take all day!" Dominic yelled behind him.
"Are you gonna wait here?" Mack asked.
"Yea."
Mack nodded then headed in.

He found Michael waiting by the elevator.

"I don't know what floor you live on." Michael stated.
"The third."
"Cool."

The door opened and the two walked in. Michael pressed the '3' button.

When they made it to Mack's apartment, Mack gave the directions to the bathroom and Michael took them. Although he didn't really need to use it. He was back to trying to buy time. Dominic would probably kick his ass when he finds out but that was just one of the risks Michael was willing to take to get the two together.
I'm truly a brilliant matchmaker, Michael thought to himself as he shut the door.

Mack went into his bedroom and collapsed onto the bed. His hands gripped his hair tightly as he reminisced on how many times he embarrassed himself at the store, stuttering so much in front of Dominic who probably thinks he's some antisocial weirdo now.

No one wants a grown man that can't make a coherent sentence, he told himself.

He figured his stuttering would ruin his chances of getting with the man he wanted.

He took out his phone to text Morgan and scold her for leaving him when he wasn't ready. He decided this was her fault.

As Mack typed, he realized it was awfully quiet in the bathroom.

He got up and walked over to it before knocking on the door.

"Hey, are you okay in there?" Mack asked Michael.
"Yea, man. I'm fine. Just waiting."
"Waiting for what?"
"Nothing. Don't worry about it."
That was suspicious...? Mack thought.

Mack looked down at his phone as he received a notification.

"Tell Michael to hurry up." texted Dominic.
Mack began typing back. "He says he's waiting for something."
"For what???"
Mack just sent a shrugging emoji.
Then realized he probably shouldn't send emojis to his boss. He was cursing himself for being stupid again.

Mack knocked on the bathroom door once more.
"Yea?" Michael answered.
"Dominic is waiting for you. He said you need to hurry up."
"Tough!" Michael replied.

Mack began typing again. "I don't think he's moving anytime soon."

The message said 'Read 5:46'.
Mack supposed Dominic didn't care. He hoped he wouldn't leave Michael there.

"Hey!" Michael called from behind the door.
"Yea?" Mack answered.
"You and Dom dating, yet?"
Mack's eyes widened. "Uh...No..."
"Why not?"
Mack thought about it. "I guess he just doesn't want to."
"Bullshit." Michael replied.
"What?"

Mack questioned the statement before he received a knock on his front door.

He went to it and answered.

Dominic pushed past Mack and walked to his bathroom before banging on the door.

"LET'S GO, BASTARD!" he demanded.
"NO!" Michael replied.
"COME OUT BEFORE I KICK THIS FUCKIN' DOOR IN AND KICK YOUR ASS!" Dominic threatened.

"Please don't..." Mack begged.
Dominic just looked at him.

"I'M NOT COMING OUT!" Michael replied.

They heard the door lock.

"It wasn't even fucking locked?!" Dominic realized.
He sighed and put his hands on his hips.

"I hate this prick," he stated.

"Do you um...want something while you wait?" Mack wondered.
Dominic sighed. "No." He walked off and sat in one of Mack's chairs at the kitchen counter.

Mack went to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water.

"Um...How've you been?" Mack asked before taking a sip.
"Stressed, Watts."
"Work?"
"Life."
Mack just nodded with his eyes on the floor.

"I can help..." he stated and looked back at Dominic.

Dominic looked at him.

In Mack's head he was freaking out.

Did I say that?
Why did I say that?
I didn't mean to say that...
And to say it OUT LOUD!?

In reality, Mack held eye contact as he sipped his water.

"I'm dropping him off and I'm coming back." Dominic said and got out of his seat.

Mack's heart was racing now.

He heard Dominic banging on the bathroom door.

"HURRY THE FUCK UP BEFORE I SELL YOUR SHIT AND LEAVE YOU HERE!" Dom threatened.
The door opened.
Michael scowled at Dominic and Dominic just hit him in his head before the two walked towards the door.

"Bye, Mack." Michael said.
"Uh...Bye..." Mack responded.

Dominic looked at Mack one more time before opening the door and leaving with Michael.

Mack stood there in shock at what he'd done.
He had to clean.
Well his apartment was already clean but now he thought he needed to deep clean.
He needed to shower.
He wasn't dirty but he didn't feel clean enough.
He didn't know where to start.

He quickly ran to the bathroom and started the shower water.
