"Where are you making me take us?" Mack wondered as he drove.
"Take a left up here."
Mack did as told but he still wanted an answer to his question.

It was a long driveway.

"Wh-What is this...?" Mack asked quietly.

They made it to the front of the stone building and Mack read the sign.

It was a winery.
Dominic brought them...
To a winery...

"Why?" Mack questioned after parking.
"Because it's too early for scotch." Dominic replied and got out of the car.
He walked off with his hands in his pockets and Mack got out to follow.

The two walked inside and it smelled like burning roses and mahogany.

"Afternoon, gentlemen." said a man who greeted them.
"Afternoon." Dominic responded.
"Will it just be the two of you?"
"Yea."
"Great, I can give you two options. You can be walked through the winery and get the story of each wine and it's legacy or you can each take a menu and explore the vineyard on your own."
"Menu is fine." Dominic answered.
"Not a problem, here you are. Just down this hallway and to your left. Out the sliding glass door." The man said and handed the two their small menus.

They took them and followed the directions.

"How often do you come here?" Mack asked as they made it to the vineyard.
"Usually once a month."
"You seem very...um...high class."
Dominic chuckled. "That's a recent habit."
"You weren't always this way?"
"Mack, I used to live in a rundown apartment with the occasional cockroach waking me up in the morning. Not to sound bratty, but I'm only this way because my father told me he'd take all of my finances into his own hands if I ran the company for him. And now I'm, as you call it, 'high class'." Dominic didn't believe that was accurate. He just recently became fond of dressing in suits and liking alcohol. He didn't think he was at all high class. He'd still get into a bar fight if the opportunity presented itself and he also casually did hard drugs while having two or three fuck buddies on speed dial. He might be expensive but he wasn't high class.
"Oh..." Mack responded.

The two made it to the first wine option.

"Charbono." Dominic said and took one of the bottles out of the pail of ice.
He grabbed two glasses and poured it.

Handing Mack one.

The two took a sip.

"Mm." Dominic said and walked off.
Mack was used to beer or brown liquor but this wasn't terrible.

After six more glasses of different options, Mack was wine drunk and Dominic was tipsy but only one more sip away from being in the same state as Mack.

"Who plants the vines?" Mack slurred.
"What?" Dominic asked.
"The vines. The grapes. Who plants 'em?" he repeated and took a sip of his Chardonnay.
"I don't know, the gardener?"
"Hm." Mack finished the glass. "That's good." he said as he looked in it. "I want more."
"I think you've had enough." Dominic snickered.
"No, no. There's more somewhere." Mack said and walked off to find it.

Dominic sighed and followed.

The two spent the entire time walking around tasting things and after each glass, conversation became more fluid.
It was weird to Dominic having some large himbo following him around stupidly and nervously. Dominic wasn't used to having acquaintances, let alone friends, unless you counted Michael. He hardly knew how to tolerate it other than to call Mack and Michael idiots, dumbasses, stupid, or bastards. Friends were rare for him.
Shawn was too loud. Too obnoxious. Too full of himself. Too greedy. Too lazy. Too stupid.
Landon was too submissive. Too horny. Too needy. Too possessive. Too clingy.

He stared at Mack as Mack poured Cabernet Sauvignon into his glass.

Maybe, just maybe, he found someone he could tolerate enough to call a friend.

Mack downed his glass.

Dominic walked over to him.

"Are you done now? Remind me to never bring you to an all you can drink bar."
"They have those?!" Mack wondered.
"No, Watts. I was being sarcastic."
"Maaackk..." Mack corrected.
Dominic snickered to himself. "Sorry. Mack."

Dominic took both of their glasses and put them in the area specially marked for used ones.

Mack was leaning against the table and scratching through his hair.

Dominic stood next to him and did the same.
Mack turned to the side to look at him.
"Can't drive, don't know what you expect to do until you sober up." Dominic pointed out and looked back at him.
"You can't do it?"
"No, I'm more sober than you but I'm not sober."
"Oh..."

"You're kind of stupid when you're drunk." Dominic snickered.
"You're kind of hot when you're drunk." Mack responded.

Dominic just chuckled to himself and pinched the bridge of his nose. You're also honest when you're drunk, he thought.

"You're actually hot all the time." Mack continued. "That makes me nervous."
"Me possibly being attractive makes you nervous?"
"Yeaaa...and because you're like...cool. You know?"
Dominic chuckled. "No, I don't."
"You're so nonchalant and confident. I've never been either of those a day in my life. I'm shaky. I'm twitchy. I'm nervous. Scared. Embarrassed. But never nonchalant or confident."
"Hm..." Dominic listened.
"How do you do it?" Mack wondered.
"I don't know..." Dominic answered. "I got tired of feeling shit. I don't wanna feel anything. Tired of being sad. Tired of feeling scared. Tired of feeling embarrassed. I'm tired of feeling tired."
"Hm..."
"You get tired of feeling that way and you're gonna stop feeling altogether. I don't feel shit."

"You get tired of being hot?" Mack wondered.
Dominic laughed to himself. "I never realize I am until you say something."
"Really?!" Mack said in shock and stood in front to face Dominic.
"Yes, really." Dominic looked at Mack, still leaning against the table with his hands pressed onto it and his ankles crossed.
"That's unbelievable." Mack shook his head.

"You know you're hot too, right?" Dominic asked with a smirk.
Mack looked at him in shock. "Me?!"
"Who else?"
"No...I'm like..."
"Sexy." Dominic completed.
Mack froze and stared at him.
Dominic chuckled at Mack's blushing cheeks.

He stood directly in front of him and looked up into his eyes.

He felt like fucking with drunk Mack.

"I like my tops big. Pretty. Masculine." Dominic said as he felt over Mack's body. Mack watched him in shyness. "The kind that no one would believe them if they said they were gay because they don't fit that dumbass stereotype motherfuckers have about what looks 'gay' or what doesn't."
Mack felt something in his pants but tried ignoring it.
"You're the kind of sexy that doesn't know that he's sexy and that turns me on. I like when they aren't self aware of how attractive they are. And your dick is fucking massive."
Mack's eyes widened.

Hearing Dominic's velvety voice say these things to him out in public was doing something to Mack's body.
