Looking at Caleb, I could not help but appreciate him. He has been there so much for me recently and I loved that I was finally seeing him be his true self without any walls or barriers. There is still so much that I want to learn about him. I also loved his family. Over the last few weeks Tori, Julie and I had become really close. Julie was a fantastic mother and Tori was starting to feel very much like a sister to me.

"What are you staring at?" Caleb asked, breaking my gaze.

"Nothing, just thinking about how amazing you and your family have been to me since my mum left".

A slight blush crept up his cheeks, "well we have all loved having you here, Tori has really enjoyed having another girl in the house, same with Mum"

"What about you?" I asked curiously.

"I am not ready for you to go home in a couple of days" he smirked.

I could not help the smile that made its way onto my face as I bumped my shoulder against his. "Is that your way of saying that you will miss me?"

He stopped in his tracks and turned my body so that I was facing him. "Why did you stop?" I asked curiously.

He smiled, looking into my eyes. The way that he was staring at me almost made me squirm. "I will miss having you there when I want to annoy someone, I will miss having you there to go swimming with, I will miss seeing your smile first thing in the morning and I will miss the movie nights and game nights that we have."

Caleb put his finger under my chin, lifting my face up so that our eyes met again, "does that make it a bit clearer?"

Now it was my turn to blush. I could not see my face, but I could only imagine how red I would be. Despite the fire, that felt like it was spreading all over my face, I could not wipe the wide grin off of my face.

"I am going to miss you all day, every day as well" I smiled, leaning over to wrap my arms around his neck.

Caleb instantly snaked his arms around my waist, resting his head in the crook of my neck.

I could honestly stay like this forever, being in his arms was so calming and I felt safe.

"Come on Princess. As much as I would like to keep you here in my arms, I do not think the teacher will feel the same way" he chuckled, hesitantly letting go of my waist.

We walked towards the school together and walked straight towards our lockers which just so happened to be next to each other. It is funny, I used to hate having the locker next to the school's biggest player because he would always be making out with different girls, mostly Chloe, against our lockers. But now, I loved it; we were able to talk for longer and would often walk to and from class together. Rather then it being a curse, it was now a positive thing that I looked forward to every day.

"You have modern as well yeah?" I asked

"Sure do, walk with me?" he asked, holding his arm out like a gentleman.

"Absolutely!" I laughed, linking my arm with his as we walked to class.

Unfortunately, none of our other friends were in this class but it just meant that Caleb and I were able to talk and spend some more time together. When we reached the door, he dropped my arm as he held the door open for me.

"Well, aren't you just the perfect gentleman today?" I laughed.

"Only for you Princess".

Caleb and I took a seat next to each other, like we had every lesson this term.
