A/N: I didn't expect this to be so long, but I hope you all enjoy it. I typed it up pretty fast, so there might be a few mistakes.
(Y/N's POV)
I spent most of my Monday morning in meetings with potential new clients. I escorted a few around the company, showing them what we had to offer if they were to sign with us. I remembered stopping in a couple of recording sessions with Noah Schnacky and We Three, offering encouragement where I could. I always made sure my clients knew I had their backs. Just because Rachel and I were the heads of the company didn't mean we weren't involved. We loved the hands-on work because it showed everyone that we weren't just in the business for the money.
I spent a great deal of time with our lawyer, Sam, reviewing contracts of new clients and ones for clients who needed theirs renewed. Of course, during all this, the two of us made sure to catch up with the other. It made running a business easier when you worked with people that grew up with you. I lost myself in my work, forgetting about my little conversation with Chris earlier that morning.
"He is going to take you out to lunch," Chris informed me while I maneuvered my car through LA traffic.
"Well, it will be good to see him. I haven't seen him since the Endgame premiere," I said, briefly remembering the short interaction, pulling into the parking garage.
The day had quickly gotten away from me. Before I knew it, all the clocks read six. Exiting the elevator, my nose buried in one of the contracts from the morning's meeting, I walked down the hall towards my office.
"You can go home anytime you like, Tyler," I expressed, shuffling past his desk, never once looking up from the documents in front of me.
I didn't hear my CEO respond, but then again, I wasn't exactly paying attention. I never was the best at multi-tasking so, anyone could say just about anything to me, and I'd never hear them. I strived to stay focused as I closed my office door, kicking off my black high heels. I unbuttoned my blazer, pulling it off my shoulders, and throwing it over a nearby chair. I shuffled across the room in my black shirt and white satin tank top, my eyes never leaving my paperwork.
"Damn, about time you show up," a voice spoke, causing my whole body to jerk in surprise, making me almost drop my documents on the floor.
"What the fuck!" I responded, turning around, finding a man on my leather couch. I squinted, not recognizing the face at first. "Who the hell..." I trailed off, finally realizing who it was. "Sebastian! What are you doing here?" I questioned, holding my hand against my chest, while placing documents down on a nearby table, trying to recover from the startle.
"Well, I thought we were going to lunch today," he responded, rising to his feet.
I frowned, "What?"
Sebastian chuckled, "Chris didn't call you?"
I placed my hand against my forehead, suddenly remembering my conversation with the man this morning. "Oh, fuck. Yes, Chris told me you were coming. I totally forgot. It's Monday, and things are crazy here at the beginning of the week," I tried to explain, feeling awful for him spending the whole day waiting for me.
He smiled, taking a glance at his feet, returning his eyes to me. "I understand."
I felt my cheeks fill with color as he looked at me. "I'm surprised you waited all day. I would have understood if you left."
Sebastian shrugged, "Well, truth be told, I've waited a long time for the opportunity to take you to lunch."
"What?" I questioned, surprised. "Are you serious?"
