" A Washington Apple," Y/N called to the bartender later that evening. She had spent hours going over every piece of paper, making sure all the numbers were correct.

The blond-haired man smiled brightly, strutting towards the woman. "Hey, gorgeous. Can I get you anything else?"

Y/N laughed, "No, just the drink."

"How about your number?" he asked, placing a finger on her arm, sliding it slowly down to her hand.

"She's married," a voice behind him spoke.

The man gazed over his shoulder at the barmaid from earlier in the day. He looked back at Y/N, finding the wedding ring sparkling brightly.

"I'm so sorry," the man expressed, cheeks turning red. "I didn't know."

"I'll forgive you if you can get me a Washington Apple," Y/N replied with a wink.

The guy nodded, walking away from the woman. Y/N gazed around the packed club. Second successful club the brothers opened in the last fifteen years. The process for the second club was slow, but looking around, Y/N was impressed.

"Here's your drink, Miss," the man returned. "Do you want to open a tab, or..."

"She's the owner," the woman replied once more, her eyes lingering on Y/N.

"Again, I'm sorry. I just started here about a month ago," the man expressed.

"It's fine," she winked, placing a generous tip on the bar for the man. "Have a good night."

Y/N moved through the crowd, wondering what was up with the barmaid. She decided to let it go, remembering that she would be returning to LA soon. The angry employee would be the least of her problems.

After a few more drinks, Y/N retreated to the office. It was close to 1:30, and the crowd started thinning. She began to leaf through the receipts of the evening. The blond bartender from earlier entered the office with another drink, wishing her a good night before leaving.

"How did we do tonight?" Bill asked, entering the office, gazing out over the bar.

"We did good," Y/N replied, looking up from the computer.

"Good," he mumbled.

"What are you looking at?" she asked, rising to her feet. She appeared next to Bill, finding Sebastian at the bar, talking to the angry barmaid. "Does he come here often?"

"Mostly the last two weeks," Bill responded. "Did something happen?"

"Maybe," she sighed, watching the woman try to comfort Sebastian. "Is that the reason she is so cold towards me?"

Bill laughed, "Yeah, Daphne's been trying to break down his walls since he started showing up. I told her to back off, that Sebastian is off-limits. She doesn't seem to get it. It's ballsy of her to flirt with him knowing you are up here."

"She's gonna make me hate Scooby-Doo," Y/N mumbled, causing Bill to chuckle. "How drunk is he?"

"He is pretty out of it," Bill replied.

"How does he usually get home?" she asked, placing her hand on the glass.

"I usually take him," he informed, gazing down at his boss.

Y/N gazed up at him, shocked, "Thank you."

"Of course. It's what I would do for anyone that you care about," Bill added, patting his boss' arm. "Do you want me to get him home tonight?"
