Chapter 47

(Wednesday, June 23, 2021)

"Hey, guys, welcome to Stir Crazy. My guests today are almost as ripped as I am, and, yes, I'm only saying that because they are on zoom and can't hurt me. It's the Falcon and Winter Soldier themselves, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan," Josh Horowitz introduced the pair over the computer.

"Hello," Sebastian said, smirking a bit.

"You don't even have a clap track, dude? Like, hit the button and it..." Anthony asked, mimicking clapping hands, while Sebastian tried to hold back a laugh.

"You can't hear the applause? I always hear the applause going," Josh expressed, pointing at the pods in his ears. "You don't?"

"I know," Anthony smiled, causing Josh to laugh. "I know you do."

"This was supposed to have been in person, but you both are on different sides of the country. Sebastian is currently in sunny LA, and Anthony is in Atlanta, so this is all we can do, so no clap track," Josh responded with a shrug, crossing his arms over his chest. "How do I refer to you guys, collectively as a unit now days. Is it Stackie? Is it Stankie? What do you go by?"

Sebastian frowned, "Stankie?"

Anthony repeated the name to himself before responding, "I like it."

"Stankie?" Sebastian laughed, gazing down at his lap.

"I'm just curious. Are you guys contractually bound to have seen all the MCU films? Have you seen all 23 Marvel Films?" Josh questioned, leaning closer to the screen.

"Yeah..." Sebastian answered, placing his finger against his lips. "Except for the last Spiderman, but that's just because I always have to be in the right mood in order to see Tom Holland, and..." He continued, causing Anthony to laugh. "Lately...I've been less and less..."

"In that mood," Sebastian and Anthony responded together.

"Wow," Josh responded. "He is the most likable man on the planet, and you are the only two people giving him shade. What's going on?"

Anthony smiled, watching the look of annoyance appear on Sebastian's face.

"That's what he wants you to think," Sebastian commented.

Josh laughed as Mackie began to speak. "Yeah, very true."

"Okay, here is the big spoiler everybody really wants to know about your relationship. Who is the better friend with Chris Evans?" Josh asked.

"Me," Anthony responded, very monotoned.

"And to quote Chris Evans, 'News to me.'," Sebastian commented, taking a drink of his coffee.

All the men laugh before Anthony speaks, "Sebastian believes that he is a better friend because his girlfriend is best friend with Chris' wife."

"Yeah, it has nothing to do with being part of this MCU world for almost ten years," Sebastian smirked over his coffee cup.

"If both of you were to text Chris right now, at the same time, who would he respond to first?" Josh questioned.

"Let's see," Anthony said, picking up his phone.

"Do it!" Josh commanded.

"Fuck, I don't have Rachel with me," Sebastian mumbled, laughter erupting with the guys again.
