"Rachel Marie Evans," Chris called out, his voice echoing through their home.
The two married to the surprise of their many friends only two years of being together. Rachel and Chris were in many relationships before this one, lasting longer than two years, but it just never worked. The two came together, filling what the other was missing in previous relationships.
Rachel lost herself in Chris, finding stability, confidence, unconditional love, and compassion. Chris found security, true love, and neither one felt the need to self-destruct. There was fear and anxiety, but they dealt with it together. Running wasn't an option for either. The minute they felt the need to run, they would turn to each other. It strengthened their relationship even more than ever.
"Christopher Robert Evans," Rachel called back from their bedroom upstairs.
Chris growled from his space in the kitchen, gazing down at Rachel's phone. He took a deep breath before charging up the stairs, bursting into their room. Entering, Chris found Rachel tucked up under the giant white comforter. Rachel's dark hair was pulled into a loose bun on the top of her head with her glasses perched upon her nose while typing vigorously on her laptop.
"What's up, husband?" she asked, gazing up at him for only a second, losing herself back in her work.
"Why do you have this picture on your phone?" Chris inquired, standing next to her, displaying a picture from the phone.
Rachel looked up quickly, smirking at the phone presented to her. "Umm..." she laughed, trying to find a way to answer her husband.
"Yeah, um..." Chris replied. "Why do you have a naked picture of Seb on your phone?" he asked, tossing it next to her.
"You know Y/N and I share everything," she responded, biting her lip.
"She showed you that picture?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow.
Rachel groaned, opening her phone. "Baby, I'm the one who took the photo from her phone."
Chris glared down at the phone, looking at the photo for what felt like the hundredth time. "You two..."
"What?" she expressed, shrugging. "You act like this isn't normal behavior for the two of us."
"And how pissed would the two of you be if the roles reversed?" Chris asked, sitting down on the edge of the bed, nudging her leg.
"You mean if you and Sebastian had pictures of us?" she questioned, wanting to make sure she understood what he was saying.
"Yes. Would you be okay with Sebastian having naked pictures of you and me having photos of Y/N?" Chris explained, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Would you and Stanley be okay with that?" she laughed, knowing how protective the men got over them. "Stanley is upset that Zac sees Y/N naked and Zac is her husband. You two couldn't handle it."
"That's not the point," Chris whined.
"Baby, calm down. Just because I've seen Stanley naked, it doesn't mean I'm going to run off with him. I'm still all yours," she smiled, pressing a kiss to his lips.
"Rachel," he moaned, watching his wife return her attention to her work.
"Christopher," she mocked, glancing up at him. "Everything is fine. I suggest you tell your friend to eat next time he takes Y/N out. The marks that man left on her, I swear it looks like he hadn't eaten in weeks," she laughed.
"She showed you the marks?" he laughed, surprised.
Rachel rolled her eyes. "We share everything," she repeated. "Yes, I saw them all. I'm sure Stanley bragged to you about whatever marks Y/N left on him."
Chris sighed, rising to his feet, running his fingers through his thick hair. "So have you shown her..."
"Yes, she has seen all the marks every time you destroyed my body," she admitted, eyes remaining on her computer screen.
"How is she able to look me in the eye after knowing shit?" he grumbled, pulling off his white tee.
"Y/N has seen you naked countless times, and she can talk to you. She doesn't care," Rachel clarified, glancing up at her husband slowly disrobing.
"Are all women like that?" he asked, pulling on his pajama bottoms.
"I don't know," Rachel answered, closing her laptop. "I just know that Y/N and I are."
"So you're saying if you were to see Seb naked as much as Y/N has seen me, you would be okay to still talk to him?" he interrogated, crawling onto the bed next to his wife.
"Yeah, because I don't care," she replied, placing her laptop on the table next to her bed.
"You know it's been six years, and I'm still not sure I understand either of you fully," he proclaimed.
Rachel laughed, "That's good. That means we both can keep you guessing."
"Oh, God! I thought you were the only one I needed to figure out," he smiled, pulling his wife into his arms.
"We are a packaged deal. It'd do you wonders to remembered that," the woman mumbled against Chris' lips.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," he whispered, kissing her gently, taking his time while lacing his fingers into her hair. "You going to erase the picture?"
"No," she responded, pushing Chris' back against the mattress.
The man groaned as his wife climbed on top of him. He wasn't sure what to take from their conversation, but it didn't matter at that second. All he cared about was spending time with his wife.
