Zac called Y/N ten times the moment he got her messages. He found himself deep in the woods, hiking some steep terrane, losing himself in his thoughts, and losing complete track of time. With signal being scarce, Zac didn't receive any messages till getting back to his car. He scolded himself the entire ride to the hospital for yet again not being there for his wife and son. He didn't know if she would believe him when he told her he hadn't been with Halston.

The actor entered his son's room, finding Josh passed out, with Chris asleep in the chair next to his bed. He felt a little thrown that Y/N wasn't there.

"Chris," Zac whispered, gently shaking the man.

"Zac?" Chris questioned, a bit confused, slowly opening his eyes.

The two exchanged looks, turning their attention to the sleeping teenager.

"Where is Y/N?" Zac questioned.

"Probably home sleeping. She was a mess when she left the hospital," Chris responded, peering down at his phone, reading the time to be 10 pm. "Where have you been?"

"Outside the city, hiking in the woods north of here," he answered, eyes fixated on Josh.

"Dude, you knew about the meeting with the surgeon," Chris pointed out, sitting up a little in the chair.

"I know," he sighed. "How did it go?"

"Well, the kid has a lot ahead of him, which is why you should have been here. It was a lot on Lynny," Chris informed.

"Why are you here and not her?" he asked, adjusting Josh's blankets.

"Because she's exhausted," Chris answered. "I offered to stay the night."

"Is she with him?" Zac mumbled, taking a deep breath.

Chris shrugged, "I don't know. She left emotional and tired. My guess, she went home to sleep." The man stretched a bit before continuing to speak. "That doesn't matter what matters is that you weren't here when she needed you...again."

Zac rolled his eyes. "I know."

"Which means if she is with him, you have no right to be upset. She needed someone to lean on," Chris sighed, running his hand over his face.

"I should go home and see if she is there," Zac mumbled. "Will you tell Josh I'll be by in the morning? And that I'll be here all day with him."

Chris agreed, "You know I will. Get some rest."

Zac nodded, patting Chris' shoulder, leaving his son's hospital room. He smiled at the nurse at the front desk, almost sprinting out of the hospital. The actor took a few minutes to sit in his car, staring at his phone. He placed a call to his wife, immediately getting her voicemail. He checked the home cameras on his phone, finding that his wife never returned home. He groaned, knowing where she was.

Zac's consciousness began to rage war with itself, trying to decide if he should go home or go to his wife. The practical idea was to go home and talk to her in the morning. The man never was rational when it came to Y/N.

Irrational behavior is the reason for pulling into Sebastian's driveway behind his wife's car. He gazed up at the completely dark house. Nausea crept over him as he thought about what could be transpiring behind those closed doors. He didn't care if he was about to interrupt anything. He needed to see his wife.

Zac huffed loudly, climbing the stairs of Sebastian's porch. He knocked aggressively, only waiting a few seconds before pounding his fist against the door again. Each knock got harder, and each time Zac became more impatient. He didn't stop until Zac heard a voice from the other side of the door.

"Yeah, okay, I'm coming,' Sebastian's voice demanded, annoyance cutting through with every word spoken. The look of aggravation played on Sebastian's face as he opened the door. "What are you doing here?"

"I need to see my wife," Zac replied, taking a step towards the door.

Sebastian placed his arm over the entrance, his body keeping the man outside. "She is sleeping."

"I don't care. I want to talk to Y/N, now," Zac demanded.

"And I said she is sleeping," Sebastian repeated, standing his ground.

"She and I need to talk," Zac commanded, not backing down.

"It can wait till tomorrow," Sebastian expressed, about to close the door.

"Who do you think you are keeping me from my wife?" Zac questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm the man who just held her sobbing body for the last hour while she told me how scared she was about Josh's surgery. That is who I am. I'm not allowing you to wake her up, causing her more stress than she is already under," Sebastian explained, crossing his arms over his chest.

Zac scowled at the man. "Is she okay, now?"

"Yeah, because she is sleeping. She is exhausted," Sebastian informed Zac.

"Do you know what her plan is tomorrow?"

"She asked your mom to keep the kids at her house tomorrow instead of letting your dad take them. If you want to talk to her, I would suggest that's where you go to talk to her," Sebastian responded, gazing over his shoulder, then back at Zac.

Zac sighed, "I'll talk to her there."

"Yeah," Sebastian breathed out. "And for the future, don't come to my house demanding to see her. If she wanted to be with you tonight, she'd be home."

Sebastian didn't give Zac a chance to respond, slamming the door, locking it quickly. He turned off his porch light, leaving Zac in the dark, heading back to his room. Entering his room, the actor found Y/n snuggled under his black down comforter, eyes closed. He watched her stir as he climbed into bed next to her.

"Why did you leave me?" she whined into his neck.

Sebastian pulled her close to his body. "Doesn't matter. I'm back now. Go back to sleep, Dollface."

Y/N nodded, snuggling closer to him. He smiled, feeling her body relaxing instantly under his touch. He laid there for a bit, listening to her breathing become steady, showing him that she had fallen back to sleep. He carefully reached for his phone, sending a text to his best friend.

Seb to Chris: Y/N with me. I turned her phone off, so call me if needed at the hospital.

Chris to Seb: Is she resting?

Seb to Chris: Yes, for the last hour.

Chris to Seb: Good, she needed it.

Seb to Chris: She was a mess when she arrived tonight.

Chris to Seb: Glad she went to be with you.

Seb to Chris: Me too.

Seb to Chris: Zac showed up.

Chris to Seb: WHAT?

Seb to Chris: Details tomorrow. I promise.

Chris to Seb: OK! Sleep, pal.

Seb to Chris: Night, bro.

Chris to Seb: Gnight!

Sebastian placed his phone back on the bedside table, placing his arm back around Y/N. HE kissed the top of her head, finding himself feeling a little spoiled with all the time he had been getting with her the last couple of days. He knew he needed to cherish these moments because sooner or later, she would be returning home to her husband.
