"Do you want me to stay with Josh tonight?" Zac asked, entering the hospital later that evening, wife laced on his arm.

"I think he'd like that," Y/N responded, leaning into her husband as Zac escorted her into Josh's room.

The teenager's face lit up seeing his parents walk in together. Y/N took not of how much happier her son seemed to be just at the sight of his father, causing her to smile.

"Looks like you're having a good day," Y/N said, placing a kiss on Josh's forehead.

"I'm happy to see the two of you here together, by yourselves," he responded, causing his parents to chuckle.

"Okay, we get the point," Zac smiled, taking his wife's hand.

Josh's smile grew, taking his parents' hands. "You aren't mad at each other anymore?"

"No. But getting mad at each other doesn't mean we love the other any less," Y/N assured Josh, running her fingers through her son's messy hair. It was a trait that he definitely got from Zac.

"How is the arm, buddy?" Zac asked, sitting in the chair next to the bed, Y/N moving around the bed to sit on his lap.

"The doctor said the swelling has gone down a lot. My surgery should be the day after tomorrow," Josh informed.

"How is the pain?" Y/N questioned.

"It aches at night, so they have to give me meds that make me super tired," he added as a phone chimed, echoing through the room.

"That's me," Y/N said, reaching into her pocket.

Seb to Y/N: Audition went well.

Y/N read the text, eyes moving to see Zac looking at her. She leaned down, kissing his lips, placing her phone back in her pocket. The woman needed to be in this moment with these two men. When she pulled her lips away from Zac, she made the right decision by keeping her attention on them. She cared for Sebastian, enjoyed spending time with him, but she belonged here with her son and husband.

"Are you both staying tonight?" Josh asked, watching his parents be the couple he loved.

Y/N wrapped her arms around Zac's neck, cuddling into his lap. "Your father is. I'm going to stay at Nona's with your sisters and brother."

"I brought your cell phone, so tomorrow you can maybe catch up with your friends," Zac added, gripping onto his wife.

"But mom said..."

"You are still grounded, but we agreed you can have your phone for an hour tomorrow. But only an hour," Y/N instructed, pointing at her boys.

"Yes, ma'am," they mumbled together.

Y/N laughed, running her hand down the back of Zac's head. She leaned against him, spending the next few hours lost in her two favorite men. she missed it being the three of them. They used to do all kinds of things together when Ricky was alive. It made things easier for Josh to have time with his parents a couple of times a month.

"I'll be back in the afternoon. I have to drop your siblings off with Grandpa," Y/N informed her son, placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Good night, mama. I love you," Josh expressed, hugging his mother.

"I love you too," she whispered.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to walk your mother out," Zac said, wrapping an arm around his wife.

Y/N leaned into his body as they walked to Zac's car. She felt protected, wrapped tightly in her safe place. She grinned at Zac while they stood next to the vehicle.
