When Two Teams Collide (Completed)

Chapter 17-Splinting Up

3rd person POV

All the passengers on the ship all crowded around the table in the planing room. They were all listening to Jinx's plan on how they were going to find out what Ragnarok was planing...but first they needed a way to actually get on the planet. 

"So whats the plan?" Gamora asked Jinx, who was writing down some stuff in a journal.

"One second..." she said as she wrote down the last bit. "Alright, I have a plan." and then she laid down the journal for all to see.

"Huh?" Quill asked confused.

"I'll explain." Jinx said, "So we're going to all split up and then-"

"Wait..." Corrigan interrupted, "Split up? Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Yes, it'll be alright. Don't worry." Jinx said and she smiled at her friend. Corrigan nodded and let Jinx continue.

"As I was saying, we are going to split up and then go all around the ship in two's." she then grabbed the journal off the table. "This will be team one, Gamora and Quill will go and cover the south and east parts of the ship. Corrigan and Drax will cover the north and west parts." she then turned to Tawny and Groot who were sitting together. "T?" Tawny raised her eyebrows, "You and Groot are going to stay here and guard the ship and make sure that no one is going to run into a trap or anything, alright?" Tawny and Groot nodded. Then Jinx turned to Rocket, "And me and Rocket will go to the control room and find some information."

Everyone nodded, understanding what they needed to do. Then Jinx turned around and grabbed her bag on the chair and pulled out something. "These." she said and she handed them out to everyone, "Are ear pieces, and they will keep everyone in touch." everyone put their's on.

"When are we heading out?" Corrigan asked.

"Tomorrow." Jinx said

"How are we getting in?" Gamora asked

Jinx smirked, "You'll see...But till then, I suggest that everyone gets a good nights sleep." and she turned around to walk up the stairs. "Goodnight."

 The Next Morning...

"Wake up!!" Jinx yelled from the bottom of the stairs, "Come on! Get up!"

"Alright, alright." Corrigan said coming out from her room, "Don't get your pants in a knot."

Eventually, everyone was down stairs eating breakfast and packing up their gear for the mission. Jinx was jotting down some last minute notes for everyone.

"When are we going?" Rocket asked from his usual spot by the table which was filled with guns, bombs and even more guns.

"Soon. One sec..." Jinx said. Then she stood aruptantly and walked over to everyone. "So here's the plan..."

"Are you sure about this Jinx?" Corrigan asked thru the earpiece.

"100%" Jinx said back, "Don't worry, it'll be fine."

"OK...here goes nothing." Corrigan said. And then she limped up to the door of the ship. "Hello?" she crocked out, "Can you please help me...*cough*cough*"

The guards that were guarding the door looked at the woman in surprise. "Who are you?" one asked. He was short and chubby and from what Corrigan could tell, very, very smelly.

"Yea! Who are you?" the other said, this one was the exact opposite. He was very tall and skinny. But, still smelt like crap.

"I...I don't remember..." Corrigan acted again, trying not to smile. This was just too easy!

"Oh...I see." Chubby said, he looked Corrigan up and down. Then wispheard to Skinny (but Corrigan could still hear). "She looks really strong, maybe we should bring her to the master?"

Skinny wispheard back, "Maybe we should." They nodded at each other then turned back to the woman, only to see that she was gone...

"Were did she go?!" 

"I don't know!" 

Then Corrigan snuck up behind them and knocked them both out. "Done." she spoke into the earpiece.

"Nice job Corr." Jinx said from back on the ship. "Drax will be there soon."

"Copy that." She said and then made use of her time by pushing the guards into a crate that was outside. Then Drax came up behind her, his intention was to scare her...that didn't work.

"Ha!" Corrigan said as she flipped him over her shoulder. "Next time." and she walked up to the door and swiped the card key that she got from the guards. Drax just stared after her in surprise.

"Are you coming?" She asked him, putting a hand on her hip.

"Yes." Drax jumped up and walked over to the door.

"Jinx." Corrigan said, "Did you turn off the camara's?"

Jinx scoffed thru the earpiece, "Who do you think I am?"

"You didn't answer the question." Corrigan pointed out.

Jinx sighed, "Yes I did, know get in there! Gamora and Quill already went in and are doing a search."

"Alright alright." Corrigan said and she and Drax walked into the ship. To the unknown...

<><><>With Gamora and Quill<><><>

"Are you sure about this?" Quill asked thru the earpiece. They were crouching behind a pillar in the main hanger. All around them there was these ailens that neither had ever seen before. The aliens had pale blue skin and bright red eyes. They were about 5 feet tall and had different hair colours, like pink, green, blue and white.

"Oh is wittle Quill scared?" Rocket mocked thru the earpiece.

"No." Quill said, "It's just, how are we going to get thru here?"

"There's air vents big enough for both of you to fit. There's one right above your head actually." Jinx said.

"Alright." Gamora said and she took out her lazer beam and cut a hole big enough for them, "Lets go." 

"When are we going out?" Rocket asked, but then stopped realizing  what he said. "I didn't mean-"

Jinx cut him off, "We will be heading out in a bit." she turned back to the screen, "We have to wait for the others to scout a bit more."

Rocket sighed, "Fine." and then he walked away to go fiddle with his guns.

Jinx chuckled a little and shook her head. This is going to be interesting...
