When Two Teams Collide (Completed)

Chapter 8-Ragnarok...Who the hell is that?

The fight was still going strong even when the Alpha and the guardians came into it. The ground of Xander was littered with body's of both sides. Jinx, Corrigan and Tawny didn't want to look at the body's, for they was worried that one of them was one of their friends. They were all just standing around looking when Rocket had enough and shot one of the rangers.

"What are we waiting for?!" he said and then he ran out into battle.

"Rocket wait!" Jinx called after him, but he couldn't hear her. Jinx sighed and then turned to the others "All right, Tawny, take Groot and go help heal and evacuate Xander" Tawny nodded and pick up Groot and they were off. "Quill you don't mind if I take control do you?" Quill just shock his head and Jinx continued "Gamora and Quill will take the east side and Corrigan and Drax will take the west and I'll go and find Rocket for the North" everyone nodded and headed off in there direction but Quill was confused.

"What about the south side" he asked Jinx.

"The soldiers will take care of that" and she ran to find Rocket and make sure he didn't kill himself yet.

Jinx's POV

I ran to look for Rocket in the North side, if he didn't kill himself already I thought. Then I found him, serounded by cree and rangers. Great I thought Just great and then I jumped over them and stood beside Rocket, he looked at me with surprise and then he smirked.

"Glad you could join the fight" he said, and the he turned to the Cree and Rangers agian "but as you can see, we have a bit of a problem"

"Really, didn't noticed." I said with sarcasm and then I turned to the Cree and Rangers and said "But this will be easy, trust me" and I shot the first couple that were coming at m-us. Then I shot another three and turned around to see Rocket killing the others, he actually really good- wait what?! I thought since when did you complament people?! Whatever, get your head in the game Jinx I thought and just in time too, I killed another Cree and then turned to Rocket to find him right in my face-wait what?

Rocket's POV

I was fighing the bastardes and then turned around to look at Jinx to see if she was alright, not that I cared or anything, it's just I don't want to have one of the good gu-girls die. Even if I didn't like them very much, I didn't want them to die. But when I did turn around, one of the a-holes that I missed decided to pick me up and throw me. So I don't know if he just had bad aim, or he wanted to throw me at her. Either one I still ended up being thrown three feet into an unexpcted Jinx, and let me tell you, she wasn't happy.

"What the hell?!" she yelled at me, while I was on top of her "Get off me Rocket!!" and I did because I didn't want to be thrown agian.

"Sorry..." I said and I backed up. But then I saw Jinx look behind me and her eyes widdend "What?" I asked. But then she pushed me out of the way and I fell...again! "What your prob-" but I stoped, because I looked behind me and saw...

A man, dressed up in a leader Ranger outfit, but he looked Cree?

"Ragnarok" Jinx snarled, and she stood up "Rocket go find the others" She said to me and she stood infront of me.

"What!?" I yelled to her "I will not-" but the look that she sent me, ya know the If-you-don't-move-and-do-what-I-say-I-will-kill-you look, ya that one. So I hoped up and rolled my eyes and ran off to find the others, leaving Jinx to fend off this...um...whats his name...Ragnarok? Yeah thats it, this Ragnarok guy.

As I was running I nocited that, this girl, Jinx, had just told me what to do? Wait, what?! Good job, Rocket I thought your losing your edge. I smacked my head, but kept on running. Oh boy.

Jinx POV

I saw Rocket leave. Good I thought he listened and at least his out of harms way-what?! Not like I care, seriously I am having some weird thoughts today. Whatever, focus Jinx and then I turned back to Ragnarok.

"Is that your pet" he sneered at me, in his annoying voice that strongly reminded me of nails on a chock board .

"No" I said as calmly as I could "He's a...well...um, he's a...I just met him, ok?" Ragnarok just laughed.

"Well, then" he said "lets get to it then-" but I cut him off when I lunged at him. He dodged my attack and hit me in the back, and I fell to the ground "A bit out of shape, Jinx?" I growled at him and lunged at him again, this time I hit him in the gut and he was knocked back. Then I did my infamous roundhouse kick, and he growled and came at me again. He took out his whips, yes whips, and I put away my guns and took out my katanas that where on my back. He came at me and whip my leg, but I payed no heed, I was in my mood, I was on fire. This continued for a bit longer, until I was on the ground, my fire was gone, and Ragnarok above me, looking down on me. "See, this is where you belong" Ragnarok said "below me, at my feet, begging to live" then he laughed and kicked me again. My wounds where not complitly healed from the torturing, so it didn't help that he was kicking me.

You got to hurry Rocket...
