Kyle

Three hours have already passed since we were in front of Seren's villa, discreetly waiting for her to be back from wherever she was. I could have easily barged in her house and waited for her there but I wanted to deal with her differently, not how I had dealt with my other victims. She was going to be treated differently just like how she enjoyed being different.

"She had not gone to the orphanage for two weeks already!" Ethan muttered, checking on her activities in the orphanage.

"Of course she wouldn't! Her mission is now over!" Zyov replied, lighting on his cigarette.

I silently listened to them, patiently waiting for the red haired woman to come back to her villa, thinking she was free and happy.

"Is everything set?" I asked, and Jared nodded.

"Everything is set, just like how you asked!" he replied and I could already feel that things were about to be interesting.

It was dark already, but this was definitely not going to stop what was going to happen. No matter what, this night was going to be a long and enjoyable one!

The headlights of a red Lamborghini suddenly flashed, catching our attentions. I watched the car driving inside the villa and Seren got down from the driver's seat before closing the gate.

"She really made more money than I thought!" Caleb muttered and I chuckled.

Of course, she would. Seren was the type of woman who would do anything for money and to Antonio, as long as his plans were not revealed, he was ready to pay any amount asked to him.

"Ready?!" I asked, my eyes on the dim-lighted room I supposed was her room.

"Waiting for your command, Captain!" Renzo replied and I got down, my gun in my hands.

Getting inside the yard was pretty easy considering how skillfully we could climb walls, without getting caught, no matter the height, we were well trained for it. Everywhere was silent and I assumed she lived alone. I went towards the back yard, with my men following me, very well alert.

My eyes fell on the open swimming pool and the back door. Perfect!

"Jared!" I called, my voice low and he immediately knew what he had to do.

Going towards the door, he easily manipulated the lock and quickly unlocked the door without any noise. We entered the house and the first thing I heard was soft music inside the living room and I knew she was there.

I motioned my men to slow down behind me while I walked there first, my gun lowered. My eyes fell on the red haired woman, sitting comfortably on her couch, a glass of wine in her hand. Too bad for her, all the comforts she had were going to end soon.

"Living the best of your life, I see!" I said and she quickly stood up, her eyes filled with shock and panic.

"Kyle?!" she said, her voice trembling with shock and fear.

Stepping closer to her, I watched as she took steps back, trying to calm herself down.

"I know what you did, Seren!"

"What do you mean, honey? I don't know what you're talking about..."

Honey. Wrong choice of word, all she did was fueling the resentment and rage I was trying hard to control. I lunged at her, my hand wrapped around her throat while she struggled in my hold.

"It's Kyle for you! Kyle!"

"Kyle, let her go! We need her to find Amelia!" Caleb reminded me from behind and I immediately released her, stepping away from her.
