Meeting Skylar

*Natalie's POV

Zayn and I started walking towards the others. I felt a little rude for just leaving Liam and Niall there, but oh well, we'll be back soon. BUT YES I FINALLY GET MY CARROT FLAVORED ICE CREAM.

"So Natalie, figure out which flavor you want?" Zayn asked, probably trying to make conversation. "Of course! Carrot!" I exclaimed happily. "Carrot?!" Louis spun around, smiling. "We are now best friends." I laughed. "Alrighty, best friend." I told him. We all laughed. Louis and Val were asked for their orders and they practically yelled in the cashier's face, "CARROT!" in unison. We laughed, and they got their orders, following Harry and Mel who were back at the table already.

"Hello, how can I help you?" The lady, probably in her mid-thirties asked me politely. "Hi, Can I please have a medium waffle-cone bowl with two scoops of carrot flavored ice cream?" I asked smiling. "Of course! And what would you like?" She asked Zayn. "The same, please." He said. We got our orders and made our way to the table.

"Hey Niall, Liam, don't you guys want some too?" Harry asked in his slow voice. That boy needs to talk faster. "YES!" Niall practically screamed and we all laughed out loud, except for Zayn who forced a chuckle. Well that's weird. I thought they made up back in the store?

*Zayn's POV

I know it's probably ridiculous of me, but I got jealous when she even laughed at something he said. But I think it just proves how much I really care about her. Liam and Niall went to go get their ice cream, while I took the chance to look at Natalie since she was in a conversation with Mel and Valerie.

She really is extremely beautiful. Since she wasn't wearing sunglasses or the SnapBack anymore, you could see what she really looked like. Her gorgeous brown eyes and long wavy brown hair. She's the prettiest girl I've ever seen.

I noticed some guy at another table start checking her out. I scooted over to her slightly, put my sunglasses down a little and glared at him. He seemed to notice me for the first time and must've gotten scared, because he left after that. I slid my sunglasses back up, satisfied. And Natalie didn't even notice.

*Natalie's POV

"Well guys, I think it's time for some girl shopping!" Mel exclaimed, standing up. Val and I stood up too. "WOO!" Val yelled in my ear, making everyone laugh.

We got up and left the food court, heading to the nearest escalator. "So girls, where to first?" Mel asked. "Umm, I think we should just walk around a little, try to find a girl for Liam, then actually shop! And we can shop with her, you know, get to know each other and all." I suggested. "Perfect! Woo let's go start Mission get Liam a girlfriend!" Val exclaimed, as Mel and I shushed her, laughing.

We agreed on walking around aimlessly, and to be on the lookout for a good girl for Liam. I hope we don't seem like stalkers or kidnappers or anything. "I see a girl!" Val whispered-yelled. We laughed. "You've said that about every girl we've seen!" I laughed.

We kept looking around for a while, and eventually, I spotted a girl. She was sitting on a bench next to one of those little plastic tree things,with shopping bags next to her. She was drinking a smoothie and reading a book. Well, trying to read a book at least. She kept getting interrupted.

She had pretty, long, brown and ombré blonde hair and brown eyes. She was really pretty. She looked up at every person that walked in front of her, as if they were distracting her. What girl reads a book at a mall? The perfect girl for Liam, that's who.

"Guys, I found a girl! She looks great for Liam!" I whispered excitedly. "Where?" They asked in unison. I discretely twirled my hair while pointing to her. "Ooo she does look perfect!" Val exclaimed. "Let's go talk to her!" "Wait!" I exclaimed. "What?" "Do you think we should tell her that we need her for Liam Payne? I mean, she could be a fan and just want to meet him for who he is." I said. "You're right. Let's not tell her we know the boys, just casually bring it into the conversation." Mel said. We nodded.

We slowly walked over to her. "Hi! I'm Natalie." I smiled at her. She smiled back. "Hi, I'm Skylar, "(a/n Jenny). She said back. "I'M VALERIE!" Val exclaimed really loud, earning a nudge from Mel and a laugh from Skylar. "And I'm Melanie! But you can call me Mel." Mel smiled at her. "Hi Valerie, Mel, it's great to meet you." She smiled.

She's so polite. Like Liam. Awww.

"It's great to meet YOU! Sorry for interrupting you." Val said, plopping next to her on the bench. She laughed. "It's okay, I was bored anyways." She said. We smiled. "Well Skylar, you see, we're actually friends with a very attractive guy. That we think you would love. He's sweet, cute, nice, not to mention HOT!" Mel exclaimed.

Gosh I hope we aren't creeping her out. Skylar laughed. "He sounds.. Cool." She smiled. We laughed. "Yes, very. So, I think we should get to know each other better, you know? Become friends?" I asked hopefully. "Sure!" She said. "WOO! Let's properly introduce ourselves. I'm Valerie May Jackson. I'm 19, and I'm from New York! But I moved here when I was 9, and I met these lovely ladies" Val smiled.

We laughed. "Well, I'm Natalie Elle Brookes, I'm 19 and I'm from, well. Here!" I smiled. "Hi, I'm Melanie Nicole Vales, I'm 19 and from Florida, but I moved here when I was eight!" She said. "It's great to meet you guys! I'm Skylar Marie Morgan, I'm also 19, and I've pretty much lived here my whole life!" She smiled.

"So! Are you single?" Val asked getting right to the point. She smiled. "Yeah, I am." I silently cheered. "That's great! So what bands or singers do you like?" I asked casually. "Well, I love Ed Sheeran, Little Mix, Demi Lovato, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, and a lot more!" She said smiling. "Cool! So do you like One Direction?" Mel asked casually.

"Oh, well I don't really know much about then. I've heard them on the radio a few times, they're great singers!" She smiled. "I know right! So you've never seen them?" She shook her head. I smiled and pulled out my phone. "Well, here's a picture of them!" I showed her one. "Ooo they're cute! I really like that one." She said, pointing at Liam. I almost squealed.

"You'd be perfect for him!" Valerie exclaimed. Skylar smiled. "What's his name?" "That's Liam Payne. He's 19 and, obviously, part of One Direction!" I told her. "He's known as the adorable, responsible one. They call him Daddy Direction." Mel added, smiling. Skylar smiled even bigger. "Wow. I'd love to meet him one day." "You would be cute with him!" Val said. "So, how about we do some girl shopping?" Val exclaimed. "Of course!" Skylar said, standing up. "Let's gooo!" Val yelled.
