lucky ~ james potter 1

it was a late winters night, and way past curfew at hogwarts. you had been awoken by your boyfriend, james, who was now dragging you through the corridors. "james, slow down!" you laughed, causing him to laugh too. you both looked up to see lucius malfoy heading your way. james grabbed your waist and pulled you down another corridor, pressing you against the wall with his hand over your mouth to muffle your heavy breathing.
once james was sure he had gone, he let out a sigh of relief, before removing his hand from over your mouth. "why didn't you bring the cloak?" you smiled at him, raising an eyebrow. "yeah why didn't i bring the cloak?" he questioned his own actions, causing the pair of you to fall into a fit of giggles. you had both calmed down, and you were currently trying to identify where in the castle the pair of you were, completely oblivious to james' burning gaze, examining the features of your face. you turned to face him, your eyes immediately were met with his.
"you make me the happiest person in the world." he sighed, his eyes never leaving yours. you felt your cheeks heat up at the comment, making james smirk. "we've been dating all this time, and i still make you blush." he stated, smugly. you hit his chest at the clever remark, giggling. james smiled, placing one hand on your cheek, rubbing his thumb across your face. you leant into his touch, smiling at his affection.
you felt a sudden urge to be bold, and leant forward, kissing him roughly. this caught james off guard, but he eased into it, taking dominance. licking your bottom lip, he asked for entry, which you allowed, you both fighting for dominance now. you wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him closer to you, his hand now placed on your waist with a firm grip on either side. when you finally pulled away, you stared at each other for a moment, catching your breaths.
"i'm the luckiest girl here." you smirked.
