"derek, y/n was kidnapped nearly twenty four hours ago." i argued, pushing my sunglasses down my face to look at the man. "and we're doing everything we can to find her, kid. you need to be patient." i stared at him, raising my eyebrows. "be patient? the person that makes me truly happy could be dead right now and you're telling me to be patient, morgan." i argued, standing up. "morgan-" i was interrupted by his phone ringing. "what's up, hotch? mhm.. yeah okay, we're on our way." i stared at him. "they think they've found her." he told me, causing my eyes to widen.y/n's pov-
i don't know where i am, what day it is, why i'm here or whether i'll ever make it out of here alive. being part of the fbi means that we deal with kidnapping cases on a regular basis, and know all too well how the majority of them end. "oh good, you're awake." i heard from in front of me. i looked up, trying to focus on the figure that stood before me. "why am i here?" i questioned, my voice hoarse. "you see, y/n, when you broke it off between us, i was hurt, a lot." my eyes widened, realising my ex boyfriend was stood before me. i pulled at my hands that were tied together tightly. "don't fight it. you're not getting out of here anytime soon." he smirked at me, lifting my chin up with the knife in his hand, before digging it across my leg. i screamed out in pain, tears streaming down my face, as i lost every hope in being found alive. just as he started to run dig the knife into my skin again, i heard the door being crashed in, watching as he stopped in his tracks. my eyes wandering to my leg, which was covered in blood, the stinging becoming unbearable. "fbi!" i heard derek yell, as i forced myself to keep my eyes open.spencer's pov-
"hands where i can see them! drop the knife!" rossi shouted at him, as i noticed y/n slowly losing consciousness, my eyes scanning across her battered body, blood seeping down her leg. i holstered my gun, running over to her and untying her hands. "i've got you. you're okay." i whispered, as i lifted her up, making my way out of the building to the ambulance outside, praying she would actually be okay.
i had been sat by y/n's hospital bed since we got here, not daring to leave her side. i heard her grumbling something incoherent, causing me to sit up. "y/n?" she moved her head to face me. "oh thank god!" i sighed, kissing her forehead. "i love you, spence." i heard from beneath me. "what..what did you say?" i asked, needing to hear the words come from her lips again. "i love you." she gave me a weak smile, reaching up to ruffle my hair. "i love you, y/n." i whispered, pressing my lips against hers.
