We all had escaped the first set of trials and made it back to the center camp. We had access to a bit of food and a little bit of water as if it a small forests.

"You know the trials will probably get harder from here on out. Stay on guard whenever we enter this rooms," Wynter warned us as we all stuffed our faces with wildberry fruit bowls.

"Will we be okay? Like I don't want to be negative but it's already so hard and we just started," Lilac groan with the side of her face planted against a makeshift table from a tree log whole Zane stroked her hair.

Angelo slammed his bowl down with groan, "Yeah I'm not much of a fighter. I'm a plant bard nothing more, nothing less,"

"Yeah I don't know if I can stand being here with you guys for much more. You all play hero and then get mad at each other over nothing," Nalo sneered and I apart of me wanted to snap him like a twig.

"I won't expect you to much more than your abc's," I stated under my breath as I got up to go to bed.

"Excuse me?" His hand pressed against my chest.

My instinct was grab him and pin him to the floor. "What the hell!" He screamed as I took back my compass.

I got off him and started to walk away, swing the compass as I left, "Happy nightmares," I didn't bothered to look at him for I could I already hear his screams of rage.

Who knew revenge was so sweet? I laughed to myself before placing the compass around Vex's third tail. It absorbed into his spiritual being marking it impossible to obtain.

He spends most of his time sleeping still but he's become more a protective familiar than a healing one. It was a interesting change to say the least even in comparison to his six tails.

I sat at my bed post as Vex slept on my stomach. My mind was still stuck on those voices from Kendra's curse.

Like what do these petals have to do with anything. I opened on the jars of vomit petals. They hadn't dried and were still soft and fragrant.

If they're dangerous I should dispose of them before it become a problem. Although that's a problem for tomorrow me.

I fell asleep and didn't wake until the next morning. My hair is as was a mess but their was spring of salt water I could bathe in so there is a plus. A quick clean and a quick meal just as everyone was ready to start the next set of challenges.

The first three gates glowed a faint green as sign that we completed them.

Kris reappeared, at the four gate. The fourth trial was a puzzle room but it didn't seem too complex. Go into the monster filled maze and get a key that unlocks the boxes by the other door. Each box should have gemstone that will be used to unlock the next door.

There were six boxes in total. Now monster fighting was baby easy and I actually had fun doing. However there were a bunch of fake keys so we just had to keep going in and out. It was getting so bad that their was just a pile of duds.

"So, I have a question," Wynter asked as I started walking back with a handful of keys.

"Go for it," I say a bit indifference to his presence at the moment.

"Why haven't you been madder at me? I had no right to be as angry with you. You were just following the witches' code,"

I thought on it, "Because I understand you. You felt betrayed, dishonored, and mistrusted. I have a right to my privacy that much of clear but I'm fully aware of what kind of person you are as well,"
