"Mum, it's us!" Rose calls as the three of them enter the flat, "We're back!"
"Oh, I don't know why you bother with that phone. You never use it!" Jackie complains as she rounds the corner.
"Shut up, come here!" Rose tells her with a wide smile before they're hugging tightly.
"Oh, I love you!"
"I love you!"
"I love you so much!" The Doctor tries to sneak past them but Jackie pulls away from the hug and grabs him, "Oh no, you don't. Come here!" She presses a chaste kiss to his lips before hugging him tightly, "Oh, you lovely big fella! Oh, you're all mine."
"Just— just— just put me down!" He protests, his arms hang uselessly as Avery laughs at him, especially as he glances towards her for help.
"Yes, you are." Jackie coos before pulling back and kissing him once more, before turning her eyes on her youngest daughter, who was still laughing to herself, "And, you going to the Louvre and then disappearing, I was worried something had happened to you."
Avery hugs her mother tightly, "Sorry, Mum, I didn't mean to worry you."
"Yeah, yeah, you never do." Jackie replies before pulling back and cupping her daughter's face with her palms, "I love you."
"I love you too, Mum." Jackie smiles at that before rushing past the Doctor into the living room.
Avery turned to the Doctor with a smirk on her lips as she put an arm on his shoulder to lean against, looking up at him as she asked, "How're you doing, big guy? You know, after getting accosted by my mother."
The Doctor grimaced, "I think that is the most unpleasant thing that has ever happened to me. And, that is saying something."
Avery laughed lightly, feigning a sympathetic smile, "Oh, you'll be alright, dear." She pat his shoulder gently before rounding into the living room just as Rose hands over her rucksack.
"I've got loads of washing for you." Rose tells her mother, "And I got you this." Rose holds up a small ornate metal nick-nack, "It's from the market on this asteroid bazaar. It's made of..." She trails off and glances back towards where the Doctor and Avery were looking at random things on the table, "What's it called?"
"Bazoolium." The Doctor answers, looking up at Rose briefly before back down at the magazine he's holding.
"Bazoolium. When it gets cold, yeah, it means it's going to rain. When it's hot, it's going to be sunny. You can use it to tell the weather." Rose explains.
"I've got a surprise for you and all." Jackie tells Rose, causing Avery to look up curiously.
Rose sighs, "I get her bazoolium, she doesn't even say thanks." At the snide comment the Doctor looks up and smiles lightly before glancing towards Avery, who seemed interested in finding out what this surprise is.
"Guess who's coming to visit? You're just in time. He'll be here at ten past." Avery moved to stand next to Rose, her curiosity getting the better of her, "Who do you think it is?"
"I don't know." Rose replies.
"Oh go on, guess."
"Cousin Mo?" Avery tries and when Jackie shakes her head, she just shrugs, "Well, I don't know then. Just tell us."
"It's your granddad, Granddad Prentice." Rose looked stunned and Avery's brows furrowed in confusion, "He's on his way any minute, Right, cup of tea!" Jackie runs off towards the kitchen, ignorant to the bewildered looks on her daughters' faces.
