chapter 4

As soon as I walked in music filled my ears. I looked around and saw people dancing drinking and making out I was shocked.
I've seen this in movies but being actually here was weird.
Britney introduced me to some friends and grabbed them all including me and made her way to the dance floor.
While she was there dancing I went for a drink I searched for  drinks that didn't contain alcohol. I couldn't find anything. So I grabbed a glass of water and made my way through the hallways.

"What are you doing here?"

I jumped at the voice of someone else's voice and ended up spilling some water on my dress

"Omg! Im so sorry I didn't think that would happen"

I realized that I still didn't know who was talking to me so I looked and found that guy that I've been thinking about.

"I didn't mean to scare you I just wanted to talk to you, I'm Rickey"

"I-its okay its just water, I think ill live"

He  smiled and I started to blush"What are doing here anyway?"

"I-I  u-u-um the music was too loud and there are so many people out there" I cursed myself again and again for stuttering.

"Ohh antisocial girl."

I felt tears running threw my eyes "I-I need to go" I said with a low voice.

"Waittt! Carolina I didn't mean it I swear I didn't know that you're that sensitive I'm sorry I'm such an idiot."

No one ever apologized to me in that way he was too cute. I said to myself.

"How did you know my name?"

Rickey started blushing and answered "Umm I asked a friend about it and she was Britney's friend I really wanted to talk to you"

He was nervous looking at his fingers not making any eye contact.

"Why?" I asked.

"Listen I don't usually do this I don't talk to people, but you seemed alone and by your own not like the other girls  gossiping and making up rumors. "

I blushed and stared at him.He talked something but I didn't listen I was too busy looking at his beautiful eyes.

"Cay?"

Wait what!! He just called me Cay.That was  so sweet. I blinked several times before answering.

"U-um y-yea?"

"Am I that hot?" Rickey teased.

I rolled my eyes and didn't answer.

"Cay can we go to a better place?"

"W-what place?"

"To get some food or something."

"Noo."

"What do you mean by no." Rickey cocked his head.

"I'm not going anywhere." I stammered.

"Yes you are."

"T-thats kidnapping"

Rickey winked "it's not kidnap if you want to come."

I felt awkward so I decided to walk away.

"Carolina wait" Rickey yelled touching my shoulder lightly making me turn around and face him
"Look I'm not making you come, you don't have to come if you  don't want to."

I felt ashamed for some reason. Maybe it was the fact that I hate refusing someone's request or the fact that Rickey looked so adorable being shy and abashed.
I sighed and before I knew it I heard myself saying

"Alright I'll come with you."

Rickey instantly perked up and a smile across his face came up
"Thanks Cay."

"So where are you taking me?"

"Frozen yogurt" he smiled.

He held open the door for me like a gentleman and I walked inside. Taking in the small restaurant,it had colorful walls.
My eyes winded at the wide selection of toppings. Nuts sauces, candy, fruits...

"Wow" I breathed taking in all the choices

"I know" Rickey said. "I still haven't tried all the toppings."

I smiled at Rickey and he smiled back. He led me to the bowls and I quickly chose a flavor called Cable Car Chocolate, it looked like regular chocolate so I was okay.
Once I stood in front of the table toppings, I was dumbfounded, what do I pick?

Rickey pilled his strange concoction with sprinkles and headed over by the sauces.
I picked some M&Ms joining Rickey where we pay, I started to dig out my wallet, before Rickey pushed it back to my bag shaking his head.

"Nope its on me."

"B-but" I stumbled before he cut me off.

"I wanted to take you to eat, so I'm going to pay" he raised his eyebrow.

I couldn't help but think how hot he looked, I nodded meekly taking my bowl of frozen yogurt and heading over to a corner booth,Rickey followed me sliding into his seat across from me.

"W-what did you get?"I said surprising myself starting the conversation.

"Honestly, no idea" Rickey chuckled I smiled slightly,quietly eating my yogurt.

"So you want to play 20 questions?  So we get know each other? " Rickey questioned.
