The more I thought about my room and being alone the more I felt depressed so I decided to call Britney and girls night was the cure so I convinced myself and called her
"Hello Brit"

"Baby girl I missed you a lot"she screamed"hows life?"

"I m-missed you t-to, pretty good I guess. So Brit I umm was wondering if we could spend the day together" I stuttered.

"Of course hun , why don't you come to my apartment"

"You have an apartment" I asked

"Duh, its near my campus . You go to saint Ohio and its next to the main street" she explained

"Cool be there in twenty minutes"

"See you then" Britney said" I will get food ready"
I smiled Party indeed.

Britney's appartement was on the second floor and far away from the elevator. Like on the opposite side of the building far.
I knocked on the door and Britney opened it smiling "hey come in" Britney said hugging me " oh and ignore my roommate she's a bitch" she said cheerfully

"You're not so pleasant to live with either" a voice called

"I try" Britney retorted

"Fuck you" the voice responded

"Not even on your birthday" Britney said

"What?"

"What?" Britney called back feigning innocence

"Did you say something?"

"No" Britney answered
The voice was quiet for seconds before it called"Well keep quiet in there,im trying to study"

"Studying boys abs, more like it"
I was following this conversation like a tennis match"You two are cute"

"Mehh,so what brings you to my humble abode" she said,settling herself on the couch, adjusting her glasses "especially on a school night which means I have to kick you at 9"

"Shit school starts tomorrow" I said worried

"Yeah hun why do you seem sad?"

"Britney I don't want to go to that new school I don't want to be the new girl I had enough with nicknames no need for new ones" I cried

"Hey hey calm down baby girl it's fine you have to get out from your shell remember? And being the new girl isn't that bad just don't think about it"

" I'll try" I sniffed

"Okay movies time , action or horror? "

"Horror"

"Something will never change" she shoot me a look

"Duh"

We spent the time eating popcorn and watching insidious 3 and suddenly my phone rang which made us jump and popcorn flew in the room

"Sorry forgot to put it silent mode" I laughed "shit its mom"

"Hello"

"Carolina Rose where in the god sake are you?" Mom screamed

"U-um mom I w-wanted to spend some t-time with my friend Britney after finishing my session with Gloria" I stuttered

"And why didn't you tell me? I was worried about you Carolina. I'm coming to get you now where are you?

"N-no mom it's fine I will-"

"Carolina I said im coming now don't argue and tell me where's this goddammit house" she cut me off

"Saint Ohio next to the main street" I answered

"okay wait for me"

"Mom is coming to take me"

"Ohh okay fine I had so much fun today baby girl and call me tomorrow when you get home there's so much to talk about, you know first day of school" she winked

"Ughh just don't remind me" I looked away.

Moments later mom arrived and burst into the apartment and she looked beyon enraged "Carolina Rose, get in the car and don't you even think about defying me" she screamed. This time I didn't debate her, I was shocked that I just got up said goodbye to Britney and followed her out.
Along our way out she spoke again "I just don't know what to do with you anymore, I just don't know".
Once we got home she didn't say a single word so I went straight to bed , but before I fell asleep a few tears managed to escape. I knew that I let mom down but why does she treat me this way? I really want to put myself out of this misery they call life.
