My demon

AN: this chapter has no relation to the other demon story so dw. Sorry for being inactive, the middle of the school year is always so stressful lollll. Enjoy <3

Y/N sat at her desk, writing an essay for her English class. She stopped to stretch and took a sip of tea from her mug that was on the side of her laptop. She took a piece of cake with her fork and put it to her lips before eating it. The cake melting in her mouth.

"Anddd...." She trailed off as she pressed the period key on her laptop, marking the end of her now completed essay. She sat back on relief holding the mug in her hand and taking a sip.

"Finally done?" Her older brother said leaning on the door frame.

"Yep. You going anywhere?" She asked. He had a fancy button up shirt, trench coat, and some random dress pants she had never seen before.

"A date. I'll be back home later on so try not to throw a party while I'm gone. And if you leave tell me where your going at all times." He said crossing his arms and doing his mom stance.

Their dad died a few years ago leaving their mom a single parent. Y/N's mom moved over seas to find a better job that payed well. Ever since she and her brother have been receiving money weekly to help with living expenses.

"Okay okay I got it, not like I have anyone to call over at 4:30 am. Don't get kidnapped." Y/N said turning back around and turning in her essay. Her brother laughed before leaving her room. Soon after she heard a locking noise signaling her brother had left the house.

Y/N, once caught up with her assignments, laid in the middle of her bed. She began watching a movie on her laptop. Outside the rough rain could be heard, no sign of thunder or lightning though.

Y/N paused her movie getting up to use the bathroom. Once she was done she washed her hands and grabbed a water bottle from the kitchen before heading back to her room. She entered her room before stopping abruptly.

At her desk there was a shadowy figure, of course she had no clue whether it was her imagination playing tricks on her or if it was a person who had broken in. She stood there shocked not knowing what to do. If it was a person, they had to be dangerous. Not many could break in a house with a person in it and not make any signs of it.

She reached for her phone. The figure moved causing her to flinch.

"Don't move." The figure said. It's deep voice rattling those things around it. The figure stood up not moving besides that.

"We don't have anything here of value, I'll give you whatever you want so please don't hurt me." Y/N said trembling, clenching her phone.

"Hurt you? Why would I." The figure said walking towards her.

"I'm Dabi. I'm not here for anything besides you."

"What do you mean." Y/N said, her voice trembling.

"Your father, I knew him a while ago. You were about 8 at the time so 10 years ago. We made a promise, he would do something for me and in return I would so something for him." Dabi said now stopping in front of Y/N. Towering over her.

"And that agreement was that I protect you and the people you love."

"Protect? From what, me and my brother are all the protection I'll be needing." Y/N said relieved knowing Dabi wasn't here to rob or kill her.

"There are...some people that may or may not want to hurt you." He stated.

"Okay...now just how did you get in here without me hearing?" Y/N questioned now sitting on her bed and opening her water. Still on guard.

Dabi remained silent.

"Do you have a key or something?" She said taking a sip of her water.

"Yeah let's say that."

"Okay...do you have any proof that you knew my dad. Just want to make sure your not a serial killer."

Dabi nodded, not that she could see it anyways. Dabi drew a square in the air before a hologram began floating in the air.

"Hey Y/N your probably an adult now huh? How's that going for you? Anyways if you're seeing this you've met Dabi. Everything must be confusing now but trust me and more importantly Dabi. He'll explain everything within time so please be patient. I love you." The hologram closed and the voice stoped.

"You do know him... what did he mean by everything must be confusing?"

Dabi sat on the bed besides Y/N, which caused half the bed to lean down due to the extra weight.

"Hold on I can't see let me turn on the light." Y/N said standing up and heading over to the light. Dabi grabbed her arm.

"What? If your insecure it's fine, it's 4 am and I'm not in the mood for judging anyone right now or ever." She said. He let go soon after. See turned on the light.

"See I-" once she turned around she was in complete shock. Dabi had stitches all around his face, most of his body covered with purple scaring. He had huge black horns matching the color of his hair. Not to mention he was humongous. From this angle he looked about 6ft.

"W-what are you, a monster?"

Dabi stood up.

"Do I look like a monster?" He questioned.

"I don't know..."

"Are you scared?"

"I don't think so...surprised maybe. I mean you're a what, demon?!"

Dabi smiled before nodding.

"The one and only at your service."

AN: hahhaha good story and cliffhanger. The next story will be one that was requested and will be posted within this week but probably not tomorrow bc I will be busy but this week for sure. I hope you all enjoyed and dm me if you have an request for stories <3
